What Is Gear Progression in TBC Anniversary?
Gear in The Burning Crusade climbs in clear item level steps. A full pre-raid set sits at item level 100–115, and the raid tiers follow: Tier 4 at 120, Tier 5 at 133 and Tier 6 at 146. Black Temple and Hyjal drops reach 141–151, and Illidan's two Warglaives stand alone at 156.
Five of the eight Tier 6 slots are out on Fresh TBC realms: head and hands from Hyjal, shoulders, chest and legs from Black Temple. Every order is filled for the class and spec you name at checkout.

Which Gear Boost Fits Your Character
- Fresh 70: Pre-Raid Gear, the Dungeon 3 Set or Epic Dungeon Gear; Ready Raider even starts at 58.
- Raider missing tier: Tier Sets for alts, the Tier 6 Set for current pieces.
- A few slots short: Specific BiS Item fills the slots you tick, PvE BiS Gear the whole list for one spec.
- Arena player: Honor Gear in about 1.5 days, the Vengeful set in about 60 days, since points arrive weekly.
Raid Drops, Crafts and Deliveries
Raid-drop cards are played on your character. The booster takes you to the boss every reset until the item drops, which takes 2–3 resets on average, so keep that raid's lockout free for the week. The Warglaives are farmed until they drop, with the result guaranteed. Crafted pieces, the Nether Vortex belts and Primals go straight to the character you name, and no one needs your login for them.
Raid drops run Piloted, Remote Control or Self Play. Many cards add 300 to 2,000 gold for gems and enchants. If you would rather take a full run with a loot choice, the TBC raid boost page sells each raid as one clear.
What October 22 Changes for Gearing
Tier 6 and every Black Temple or Hyjal drop need no attunement, so any level 70 can join those runs. From the Zul'Aman patch on October 22, 2026, raid bosses from Karazhan to Tempest Keep start dropping Badges of Justice, and G'eras sells more, Nether Vortex included. Zul'Aman itself opens the same day as a 10-player raid with 6 bosses.
When Your TBC Gear Boost Starts
Fixed start times are in the table above; raid-drop cards follow the raid night you agree in the order chat. Dungeon trinkets and rare drops sit on the TBC Anniversary items page.
Frequently asked questions
When can my gear boost start?
Pre-Raid Gear, the Dungeon 3 Set and Primals start about 1 hour after the order, Ready Raider about 30 minutes. For raid drops, the assigned booster sets the first run with you in the order chat.
How long does a single raid item take?
On average 2–3 resets, since the boss is killed each week until the item drops. The Warglaives of Azzinoth are farmed for as long as it takes, and the drop is guaranteed.
Do I need attunement for Tier 6 in TBC Anniversary?
No. Hyjal and Black Temple need no attunement, so any level 70 can collect Tier 6.
Do you need my account for crafted gear?
No. Phase 3 crafts, the Nether Vortex belts and Primals are sent to the character you name. You only need free bag or mailbox space and a moment online for the handover.
