Overview

Buy WoW TBC Deep Thunder Boost to skip the slowest part of making the second mace in the Hammersmith line. Deep Thunder is combined from Thunder, 8 Primal Nether and 10 Primal Mana, and the Nethers cannot be bought or traded because they bind on pickup.

The listed option is Reagents only with Piloted delivery: our player logs into your character and gathers what the recipes need, so the bound Nethers land in your own bags. Already holding eight Nethers? Tick "I don't need Primal Nether". A private live stream of the sessions is also available.

What’s included

You receive

  • 8 Primal Nether collected on your character (removed with "I don't need Primal Nether")
  • 10 Primal Mana for the Deep Thunder upgrade recipe
  • Thunder reagents: 20 Primal Air, 20 Primal Water, 12 Khorium Bar, 6 Hardened Adamantite Bar
  • Deep Thunder after your own craft: item level 123 two-hand mace, 118.55 DPS, 3.80 speed
  • Weapon stats: +37 Strength, +37 Agility, +55 Stamina and a 4 second stun chance on hit
  • With Live stream: a private stream of every piloted session

A weapon only a Hammersmith can hold

Deep Thunder belongs to the three-step two-handed mace line reserved for blacksmiths who chose Weaponsmith and then Hammersmith. Thunder opens it at item level 107, Deep Thunder raises it to 123, and Stormherald closes it at 136. Each step consumes the previous mace, and every version requires the Master Hammersmith specialization to equip, as well as binding on pickup. The practical result: the person who crafts the mace is the only person who can swing it.

At item level 123 the mace deals 360 to 541 damage at 3.80 speed and carries Strength, Agility and Stamina together. Its chance on hit to stun the target for 4 seconds is the reason melee players value it in battlegrounds and world PvP, not only in dungeons.

Where the recipe gets expensive in time

StepItem levelSkillReagents
Thunder10735020 Primal Air, 20 Primal Water, 12 Khorium Bar, 6 Hardened Adamantite Bar
Deep Thunder123375Thunder, 8 Primal Nether, 10 Primal Mana

Primals, bars and Mana can be bought from other players. Primal Nether cannot: it binds on pickup, so eight of them have to be looted by the blacksmith personally. That single line is usually the slow part of the whole upgrade.

What the WoW TBC Deep Thunder Boost changes

Instead of repeating the same content until eight Nethers drop, you hand that farming to our player. Because the item is bound, the work has to happen on your character, which is why delivery is Piloted. Tradeable reagents are placed in your bags during the same sessions. Once everything is there, you open your Blacksmithing window and create the mace yourself.

Smiths who already carry Thunder in their bags do not need its reagents again, and smiths who never made it do. Say which case applies in the order notes, so the sessions are spent only on the materials still missing. The final sequence is short on your side: craft Thunder if needed, then combine it with the Nethers and Mana into Deep Thunder, and equip it straight away.

Options in the calculator

  • Reagents only, Piloted: the default path described above; crafting is left to you.
  • I don't need Primal Nether: for smiths who already collected their Nethers; the rest of the reagents are still gathered.
  • Live stream: a private broadcast of the sessions spent on your character.

Checks before ordering

Open your Blacksmithing specializations first. Without Master Hammersmith and a skill of 375 the plans cannot be used, and the weapon cannot be equipped even if someone else made it. Warriors, Paladins and Shamans who plan to wield two-handed maces are the usual buyers. If you still need to reach 375 or pick the specialization, sort that out first; other Burning Crusade PvP orders are listed in the TBC PvP catalog.

Frequently asked questions

Why can't I just buy Primal Nethers on the auction house?

Primal Nether binds when picked up in Burning Crusade, so it never appears on the auction house or in trade. The blacksmith who uses it must loot it on the same character. That is why this order is delivered in Piloted mode.

Do you craft the mace for me?

The option listed in our calculator is Reagents only. We gather the materials on your character and you press Craft in your Blacksmithing window. Deep Thunder is bound and needs Master Hammersmith to equip, so it has to be made by your own smith.

Which Blacksmithing requirements apply to Deep Thunder?

The plans need Blacksmithing 375 and the Master Hammersmith specialization, which comes after choosing Weaponsmith. Thunder itself is learned at 350. Equipping any mace from this line also needs Master Hammersmith and level 70.

What if I already own some Primal Nethers?

Tick "I don't need Primal Nether" when you already hold all eight. The order then leaves the Nethers out and covers the other reagents. If you have only part of them, write the count in the order notes before checkout.

Is Deep Thunder good for PvP?

Its 4 second stun chance on hit, along with Strength, Agility and Stamina on one weapon, makes it a popular pick for Hammersmith melee in battlegrounds and world PvP. For rated arena, compare it with the weapons sold for arena points and rating.

Can I watch what happens on my character?

Add the Live stream option. It gives you a private broadcast of the piloted sessions, so you can follow the farming and check that the materials reach your bags.
