WoW Forever Mount Boost

A WoW Forever Mount Boost gets your Classic Plus hero off foot travel sooner by covering the riding level, the trainer's fee and the lesson itself in one job. You can order today; work starts on November 4, 2026.

Mount Unlock

No flying in Classic Plus, so every mile counts: leave the trainer already riding a mount.

Why Ground Speed Never Stops Mattering

World of Warcraft: Forever keeps level 60 as its permanent cap. Progression grows sideways, through new zones, dungeons and raids built for that same level, and the design leaves out both flying and level scaling. Mount Hyjal, The Riverglades, Zephras Isle and Shen'drala are added to the map, while the original continents keep their full distances. Nothing will ever shorten a route from Azshara to Un'Goro except the animal under you.

That is the whole case for a WoW Forever Mount Boost. A quester at 35 who rides finishes a zone in fewer evenings than one who walks. A raider at 60 reaches Blackmaw Hold, Shaper's Terrace or the Hyjal entrance with minutes to spare instead of arriving late. Because there are no seasonal resets, a riding skill bought once keeps paying back for as long as the character exists.

What Blizzard Has Revealed About Riding So Far

Information from the BlizzCon Deep Dive points to one clear rule: gold is spent at the riding trainer, and learning the skill hands you a mount as part of the lesson. There is no separate purchase from a stable vendor to plan around.

  • Two speeds. 60% riding is the first tier; 100% riding builds on it.
  • Numbers still missing. The level for each tier and the training fee are not public yet. The beta running from September 17 to October 22 stops at level 30, so testers may see the first tier's requirements before launch.
  • Boxed mounts too. The Heroic Pack adds the Cerulean Prideclaw, a ground mount that still needs trained riding before you can sit on it.

Every order is planned against the numbers Blizzard publishes. If a requirement changes between beta and launch, the plan follows the live game.

WoW Forever Mount Boost Options in Our Catalog

The riding work is sold as the WoW Forever Mount Unlock Boost. It has three options, and each one ends at a single checkable result: the speed is shown in your spellbook and the mount can be summoned.

OptionEnds withFits a character that
60% Riding UnlockFirst riding tier trained, its mount learnedIs still leveling and walks between quest hubs
100% Riding UnlockFast riding trained on top of 60%Already rides and has reached the cap
60% + 100% Full UnlockBoth tiers trained in one planHas no riding yet and wants the fast mount at 60

If the character is short of the required level, it is leveled there first. If the fee is the problem, the gold is farmed on that character. Steps the character already meets are simply skipped.

Mounts That Come From Quests, Factions and Drops

Riding speed is the foundation, but several mount sources in Classic Plus sit on top of it. Blizzard confirmed that the original zones, dungeons and reputations remain in the game, so their mounts are expected to return, although no reward list has been published for Forever yet.

SourceKnown exampleStatus for Forever
Class questlinePaladin charger at 60: Redemption for Alliance, Retribution for Undead PaladinsShown in BlizzCon footage, steps not detailed
Faction standingReins of the Winterspring Frostsaber from the Wintersaber Trainers at ExaltedOriginal faction kept, rewards not re-listed
Rare boss dropDeathcharger's Reins from Baron Rivendare in StratholmeLoot tables unpublished

The Retribution charger is the eye-catcher here: a skeletal horse in skull-and-gold barding for the newly added Undead Paladin. For standing-based mounts, the grind itself belongs to our reputation services, and the riding skill from this page is what lets you use the reward once it is bought.

60%, 100% or Both: Matching the Option to Your Plans

A fresh character that expects to play past the cap usually gains most from the combined unlock, since the gold for the second tier is planned together with the first and no second order is needed later. A leveler who only wants quicker questing and may stop around 40 is served by the 60% option alone. The 100% option is for someone who already rides and now spends evenings farming at 60, where every extra lap per hour counts.

Three questions settle it quickly: what level is the character now, does it know any riding, and does its bag hold enough gold for the trainer. Answer them in the order notes and the plan is built from there.

Legacy Points and the Spectral Bear

The Spectral Bear is the one mount tied to the whole account rather than a single hero. Legacy Points are awarded the first time an account hits milestones such as class levels 25, 45 and 60, profession skill 150, 225 and 300, PvP ranks, dungeon tiers and raid encounters. In the pre-release reward track, the bear's reins sit at 55 points, after a replica Ironforge Air Rifle, a Spectral Bear Cub and a tabard. A riding order that also levels the character counts toward those class milestones, so it moves the bear closer as a side effect.

What to Tell Us Before the First Session

  • Region, ruleset (Normal, PvP or Roleplaying), faction and character name
  • Class and current level
  • Which riding tier is already known, if any
  • Whether the trainer's fee comes from the character's own gold or should be farmed
  • For the Cerulean Prideclaw: confirmation that the Heroic Pack is on the account

WoW Forever has no traditional realms, so the ruleset and the two-part character name are what identify your hero.

Dates That Shape a Mount Order

Characters can be created from October 27, and the game opens on November 4, 2026 at 3:00 p.m. Pacific. Leveling and gold toward the first riding tier begin that day. Barrow Deeps, Hyjal Summit and Onyxia's Lair unlock on December 9, which is a sensible target for having 100% riding in place. The roadmap then lists a separate Hardcore launch in winter and major updates in spring and summer 2027; any new mounts from those patches will be added to this WoW Forever Mount Boost hub once Blizzard names them.

Frequently asked questions

Will flying ever be added to WoW Forever?

Blizzard presented WoW Forever without flying and without level scaling, and nothing on the 2027 roadmap changes that. All travel between zones, dungeons and raid entrances happens on the ground or by flight path. That is why riding speed stays useful at every stage of a character, from the first quest hubs to farming routes on Mount Hyjal at level 60.

At what level can riding be trained in Classic Plus?

The exact levels for 60% and 100% riding, and the trainer fees for each, have not been published. The beta that runs until October 22 is capped at 30 and may reveal the first tier. We plan every mount order against the official requirements, and if they shift before launch, the plan shifts with them.

What exactly does the Mount Unlock Boost deliver?

It ends with riding trained on your character and the mount granted by that lesson ready to summon. You pick 60%, 100% or both tiers. Leveling to the required level and farming the trainer's fee are added only when the character lacks them. Everything picked up on the way, such as gold, drops and materials, stays in your bags.

Can I ride the Cerulean Prideclaw right after buying the Heroic Pack?

The Prideclaw from the Heroic Pack is a ground mount, and a ground mount needs trained riding before it can be used. Owning the pack does not skip that step. A 60% riding unlock is the order that makes the Prideclaw usable; just mention the pack in your notes so the mount is checked after training.

Is there a class mount for Undead Paladins?

BlizzCon footage showed a level 60 charger questline for Paladins on both sides. Alliance Paladins follow Redemption, while Undead Paladins of the Horde follow Retribution and receive a skeletal horse decorated with skulls and gold. The individual quest steps have not been detailed yet, so a detailed plan for this goal can only be made once they are public.

How many Legacy Points does the Spectral Bear cost?

In the pre-release build, the Reins of the Spectral Bear unlock at 55 Legacy Points earned across the account. Points come from first-time milestones in class levels, professions, PvP ranks, dungeons and raid encounters. The number may still change before launch, and the reward applies to the account rather than one character.

Can I place a mount order before the game launches?

Yes, orders are open now. Nobody can play World of Warcraft: Forever before launch outside the beta, so work begins on November 4, 2026, when the game goes live. Tell us your faction, class and target tier in advance, and the first sessions are scheduled for launch day.
