What Is Resist Gear in TBC Anniversary?
Resist gear raises one magic resistance, fire, frost, nature or shadow, so a character takes less damage from that school. In TBC Anniversary most of the game ignores resistance, but a few raid encounters in Phase 2 and Phase 3 hit so hard with one school that raid leaders ask tanks, or even the whole roster, to wear a set built for it. Outside those fights the pieces stay in the bank.
That is why a set is measured by its total, not by item level. 280 frost or 290 fire is a target the raid leader can check before the pull; one point short and healers feel it.

Under Specific set(s) you tick the sets you need; the shadow and fire sets cost a bit more than nature and frost. All sets selects the four in one click. Why Players Buy Resistance Sets as a Service
A resistance set is built from crafted pieces, and the patterns, reagents and crafter fees add up for gear that gets worn on one fight. Most raiders put it off until the raid leader asks for it the night before. Here the sets come finished, so the only thing left on your side is to put them on. If you are gearing your main slots too, the Phase 3 crafted gear boost covers the regular crafted epics.
Who Needs the Resist Gear Carry Most
Tanks first. A tank below the resistance total on a check fight takes damage the healers cannot cover, so many guilds want new tanks to arrive with their sets done. Damage dealers and healers usually need only the set their raid leader names. If you also want a group to clear the raids themselves, see the Serpentshrine Cavern boost and the Black Temple boost.
