What Are Delves in WoW?
Delves are short instances for one player or a small group, with Valeera Sanguinar as your companion. Season 2 has 12 delves and Tiers 1 to 11, and the tier decides the loot. A bountiful delve pays extra loot when you open its coffer with a Restored Coffer Key, and each clear counts for the delve row of the Great Vault.
Players buy a delves carry for three reasons: gear and crests every week, the nemesis Azta'rec and his feats, and the mounts and titles that only solo or high-tier runs unlock. Patch 12.1.5 adds the Labyrinth of Kindo'jan on October 13, a megadelve of 9 chambers.

Tier 8 or Tier 11: Which Delve Carry to Buy for Gear
Tier 8 is where loot stops climbing: the bountiful chest drops 295, the map gives 305 and the vault offers 305 (Hero 1). Tiers 9 to 11 raise only the crests. Tier 11 pays 15 Hero Mistcrests per run instead of Champion ones, plus 5 more from the nemesis packs. Buy Tier 8 runs for vault picks, Tier 11 runs when you need Hero crests for upgrades. A Mistcrest farm gets crests without choosing a tier.
The Labyrinth works differently. It is always bountiful, every 3 chambers count as one delve in the Great Vault, and Kindo'jan adds a fourth. His chest holds 10 Hero and 10 Myth Mistcrests.
Delve Mounts and Titles: Solo Feats or Long Counts
The two solo mounts, Apophic Soul Crusher and Loa-Blessed Wayfarer, need your character alone in the party, so they are played Piloted or with Remote Control. The other mounts come from progress: Delver's Journey rank 5, the airship schematics, the five Ritual Sites mounts, and Glory of the Midnight Delver with its Giganto Manis. Titles follow the same split: the Poisonous, Lone Raider and Ritual Breaker reward hard runs, while Delver and Infinite Delver count every delve from any expansion.
When Delve Boosts Start
Season 2 delves are live, so most cards start now. The Labyrinth of Kindo'jan opens with patch 12.1.5 on October 13, 2026, and orders for it are taken now. Fabled Let Me Solo Him: Kindo'jan can be earned only in the week of October 13–20. The regular solo mount stays available through Midnight Season 2. From the week of October 20 the crest cap is lifted, so Tier 11 crests go straight into upgrades.

Which tier gives the best gear?
Tier 8. From there the bountiful chest stays at 295 and the vault at 305. Higher tiers add crests, and Tier 11 switches them to Hero Mistcrests.
Can I play along?
On many cards, yes, with Self Play in your group. Solo feats such as the two Let Me Solo Him mounts are Piloted or Remote Control only, because a second player breaks the achievement.
How long does a delve order take?
A Ritual Sites run takes 30–60 minutes, a solo mount kill 1–3 hours and Ritual Breaker 5–7 days. For runs, ranks and counts the booster confirms the time for your order in the order chat.
