What Are the Warglaives of Azzinoth in TBC Anniversary?

The Warglaives of Azzinoth are two legendary one-hand swords, a main-hand and an off-hand, at item level 156. Only Illidan Stormrage drops them, at the end of Black Temple, and only Warriors and Rogues can use them. Worn together they activate a two-piece set bonus. At 156 they are the highest item level in Phase 3 of TBC Anniversary, five levels above anything else in Black Temple or Hyjal.

For a melee Warrior or Rogue, the pair is the end point of weapon progression until Sunwell, and for many players the item that defines The Burning Crusade.

How the Warglaives Boost Works Over Resets

Illidan can be looted once per character per reset, and the glaives are rare drops. So the order is not tied to a number of weeks: we farm Illidan every reset until the glaive you ordered drops, and the full set runs until both halves are on your character. A Black Temple clear lasts about 2 hours. Because there is no fixed date, the booster keeps you updated in the order chat after every kill.

The same boss carries other items sold on their own cards, such as the Stormrage Signet Ring boost for physical damage and the Bulwark of Azzinoth boost for shield users.
