What Is Kinah in AION 2?
Kinah is the soft currency of AION 2. The Global client prints it as Kina, NC's notices also write Kinah, and some players simply call it AION 2 gold. It has nothing to do with Quna, the premium currency from NC's shop. Kinah comes in two kinds:
- Tradeable Kinah drops from the reward cubes of Conquest Expeditions, Transcendence and Ludra. Only this kind buys from other players.
- Bound Kinah comes from Exploration runs, quests and NPC sales. It stays on the character that earned it.
Global has no direct trade between players. Everything changes hands on the Market, which opens at level 45 and needs the membership for buying. Tradeable Kinah from drops is capped at 1,000,000 a day per character, which is why a wallet built only by farming grows slowly.
AION 2 Kinah Service: the Card
| Card | What you get | Time | Start |
|---|---|---|---|
| Kinah | 1 to 50 million Kinah on the server you pick, paid out through the Market | Up to 10M in 6 hours; more in daily parts | About 30 minutes |
The calculator asks for your faction, then the server, then the amount. Servers carry their region in the name, such as EU Siel or NA East Zikel, and only the servers listed there can receive an order. Express delivery costs extra and moves the payout to the front of the queue.
How to Get Kinah in AION 2 Yourself
At level 45 the steady sources are Conquest Expeditions, which pay roughly 200,000 to 400,000 tradeable Kinah per claim, and Transcendence, with roughly 300,000 to 480,000. Every claim costs 40 Odyle Energy, and Odyle refills only 15 points every 3 hours, so the number of paid runs per day has a ceiling. Ludra pays 1,000,000 per kill, but the raid is closed until it returns to Global.
If you would rather combine play and money, several boost cards take an Extra Kinah option. A Transcendence carry, for example, can add 5, 10 or 15 million farmed Kinah on top of the runs themselves.
What Is Kinah Used For?
Mostly for other players' listings. The Market sells gear, materials and anything not marked "(Bound)", and purchases there are paid with tradeable Kinah only. Kinah also pays the Market's listing fee, buys pet souls from Black Cloud Merchants in their hourly stock, and members can exchange it for Quna. A character that has just reached 45 meets all of these costs at the same moment, which is the usual reason to order.
Short on time but not on a plan? Booked hours from the hourly booster can go to farming bound Kinah and materials on your own account instead.
Before You Order Kinah
- The receiving character is level 45 and has an active Special Quai Membership.
- It holds one tradeable item and a little Kinah for the listing fee.
- You list that item at the price our manager names and send a screenshot; our booster buys the listing, and the Kinah arrives in your Market sales.
- The Market keeps its fee from the payout. Orders above 10 million go in several listings and can spread over a few days, because the game limits how much the Market settles to a character per day.
No login is needed and nothing is sent by mail. If you plan a server transfer, finish it first and order for the new server. Other ways to push your character are listed on the AION 2 boost page.
Frequently asked questions
Is Kina the same as Kinah in AION 2?
Yes. The Global client writes Kina, while NC's notices and most players use Kinah. Both mean the soft currency you earn in play, not Quna.
How fast does the Kinah arrive?
Up to 10 million usually arrives within about 6 hours of the start. Larger amounts go in several listings and can take a few days, because the Market pays out only a limited amount per day.
Do I need the membership to receive Kinah?
Yes. Buying and listing on the Global Market needs an active membership, and your character must be level 45 with one tradeable item to list.
Who pays the Market fee?
The Market keeps its fee from the payout, so you receive the amount minus that fee. The small listing fee is paid from your own Kinah when you list the item.
