At 3:00 p.m. PST on November 4, 2026 every character in World of Warcraft: Forever logs in with nothing. Nobody owns a bank full of materials, no fortune exists yet, and the developers have confirmed that no WoW Token is planned. Every coin in circulation has to be looted, quested or sold for, and the list of things asking for it begins at level one.

The shape of the problem is easy to see even without final numbers. Spending begins on the first evening, income at low level is thin, and the biggest bills (riding, profession recipes, raid consumables) land while most players are still poor.
No token, no resets: why a gold reserve keeps its value
Two design decisions define this economy. First, Blizzard plans neither a WoW Token nor a paid character boost, so the game itself offers no way to convert money into gold. Second, Forever keeps the level cap at 60 permanently and has no seasonal character resets. A reserve built in November 2026 is still in your bags when the spring and summer 2027 updates add raids, dungeons and profession changes.
That permanence changes how people plan. Gold spent on riding or on a profession at 300 is not thrown away when a season ends, because characters are never wiped. It also means the early months matter: whoever has recipes, camp objects and consumables first sets the pace in dungeons, in battlegrounds and on the first raid night.
Picking an amount that fits a goal
The calculator on this page takes the amount directly, and you can see the full figure before paying, which is the simplest answer for anyone comparing cheap WoW Forever gold offers. Rather than typing in a figure that merely sounds right, tie the amount to something concrete:
- A leveling float. Enough to train every new rank on time and keep bags and repairs covered while you quest toward 60.
- A riding fund. Blizzard has not announced riding levels or prices. Many players will wait for the official numbers and order once they are public.
- A profession push. Two primary professions to 300 plus the recipes and camp objects that make them useful to a group.
- Raid night supplies. The Barrow Deeps, Hyjal Summit and Onyxia's Lair unlock on December 9, and consumables for them will be expensive while supply is low.
If the first amount turns out to be too small, a second one is simply a new order. Nothing about an earlier delivery has to be reopened.
Trade, mail or auction house: three ways the gold arrives
Each order names one delivery method. All three happen inside the game, on your ruleset and your faction.

Large amounts may arrive in more than one handover; the split is agreed in the order chat before the first one. Blizzard has not said whether auction houses are shared across a region or separated by ruleset and faction, and that is one reason delivery always takes place where your character lives rather than somewhere "nearby".
Blizzard's position on buying gold
You should read this before you order. In the developer Q&A of September 17, 2026 the Forever team said that GDKP runs are not allowed and that it will act "very aggressively" against gold buying. We are not going to blur that statement or advertise a delivery trick that cancels it, because no such trick exists. The decision to buy, and the risk attached to it, belong to you. Checkout is already open, while the handovers themselves can only begin once the game is live. Should the launch slip, nothing is lost: the purchase is simply held until the worlds open. From there the sequence looks like this:
- Enter the amount, tick trade, mail or auction, and complete payment.
- Your purchase appears on the board that our vetted boosters see, and one of them takes it.
- A private chat connects you, that booster and our support team; the meeting spot, recipient name or auction item is settled there.
- Once the gold has changed hands, a screenshot of the handover is attached as proof.
- You then have 72 hours to check your bags and press confirm, or to flag a mismatch.

What the order form asks for
Forever has no world lists to scroll through. You choose a ruleset, and each ruleset is one large world per region. The form therefore needs five things: your region, your ruleset (Normal, PvP or Roleplaying), your faction, both parts of the character name, and the delivery method. A character on Normal never meets one on Roleplaying, and the Horde cannot hand coins to the Alliance, so WoW Forever Gold is always handed over by a character standing on your side of both lines. Hardcore launches separately in winter and is not part of this listing yet.
Classic Plus gold: questions that are still open
Several answers exist only inside Blizzard for now, and listing them beats inventing them. Riding costs and levels are unannounced. The reach of the auction house under rulesets is unannounced. Vendor prices for the new recipes and the material cost of camp objects have not been shown. The beta currently runs with a low level cap, so it says little about the economy at 60. As Blizzard publishes numbers, this page will be updated with them, and the amount of WoW Forever Gold you need will become much easier to estimate.

When is the gold delivered?
Work starts on November 4, 2026, when Forever launches. You can place the order earlier so it is already in the queue on launch day. The exact hour of the handover is arranged with you personally once a booster has picked the job up. A delayed launch does not cancel anything; delivery just shifts with it.
Is there a WoW Token in WoW Forever?
No. The developers have said that neither a WoW Token nor a paid character boost is planned for Forever. Gold enters the world only through play: quests, loot, vendor sales and trade between players. That is why early prices for consumables and materials are expected to be high relative to what a fresh character earns.
Can my account be punished for buying gold?
Yes, that possibility exists and we will not pretend otherwise. Is WoW Forever gold for sale for both factions and every ruleset?
Yes: Horde and Alliance, on the Normal, PvP and Roleplaying rulesets in your region. The two factions do not interact and the three worlds are closed off from one another, which is why the courier is always one of your own side, living in your world. Hardcore arrives as its own launch in winter and will be added separately once it exists.
How much gold will riding cost?
That figure is not public. The developers have only described the principle: gold goes into the training, and learning the skill grants the mount. The levels at which riding becomes available and the prices have not been announced. If riding is your main reason to buy, it is reasonable to wait for the official numbers and order then.
What if the amount I receive does not match the order?
Do not confirm the order. Once the proof screenshot is attached, a 72-hour window opens in which you count what arrived and either accept it or raise a dispute from the purchase page.
