Blizzard announced nine new dungeons at BlizzCon. They are spread across the whole climb to 60, and because WoW Forever has no level scaling, each one belongs to a fixed bracket. The table uses only the official descriptions.
| Dungeon | Levels | Location | Theme |
|---|---|---|---|
| Hall of Thanes | 13–18 | Beneath Ironforge, Dun Morogh | Royal dwarven tomb, Dark Iron intruders |
| Ruins of Lordaeron | 15–20 | Ruined capital of Lordaeron (entrance not confirmed) | Forsaken against Scourge remnants |
| Excavation Site | 24–29 | Wetlands, above Whelgar's Excavation | Errant titan constructs |
| City of Dalaran | 28–33 | Alterac Mountains | Fallen Kirin Tor barrier, wild magic |
| The Drowned City | 35–40 | Off the coast of Stranglethorn | Risen troll ruins, naga, a pirate wreck |
| Krol'dok Stronghold | 40–55 | The Riverglades | Huge outdoor ogre fortress |
| Alcaz Island Prison | 48–53 | Alcaz Island (zone not named officially) | Defias against naga in an old prison |
| Blackmaw Hold | 55–60 | Azshara | Corrupted furbolg city |
| Shaper's Terrace | 58–60 | Hills of Un'Goro | Untouched titan facility |
Boss rosters, loot tables, dungeon quests and group size have not been published for any of them. Where this category is silent, it is because Blizzard is.
Nine is the number of additions, not the total. Every dungeon of the original 1–60 game remains in WoW Forever, from the first caverns to the level 60 classics. Our catalog cards cover the new instances, since those are what players ask about. A run through one of the originals is available as a custom order: write to support through the site, name the dungeon and your character's level, and the request is set up as an individual order.
That matters for planning. Brackets of the additions overlap with old favourites, so a level 17 character still chooses between the tomb under Ironforge and the long-standing options of that range. We keep the catalog to the newcomers because their layouts are unfamiliar to everyone, including veterans who could walk the old corridors blindfolded.
A WoW Forever Dungeon Boost is not about skipping the game. Four things are confirmed or visible in pre-release builds, and they are the reasons to book a run:
The first two instances mirror each other. The tomb under Ironforge is the Alliance-side one, and Blizzard says the Horde can "sneak in, or perhaps carve your way through"; our Hall of Thanes runs are open to both factions. Its Horde-side counterpart is the fallen capital, where Alliance characters are the ones sneaking in: see the Ruins of Lordaeron carry. Both opened to testers during week one of the beta. Story-wise the pair could hardly differ more: Dark Iron dwarves have cracked open a royal burial hall where whispers echo, while a necromancer gathers strength under a green sky as the Forsaken try to rebuild.
After level 20 the faction split ends. Blizzard labels the dig "a place trapped in time", guarded by titan machinery that stopped obeying, and fills the mage city with misfiring enchantments and demonic energy. The titan dig in the Wetlands is covered by the Excavation Site clear, and the mage city that developers call "a whole city to explore" by our Dalaran dungeon service.
The Drowned City, troll ruins pushed up from the sea floor, was the first new dungeon visitors could play at BlizzCon. Krol'dok Stronghold in The Riverglades has the widest bracket of all, 40–55, and takes place outdoors. The Alcaz Island Prison listing deals with the rumour that the Defias kept noble hostages there, perhaps even Stormwind's king, while naga press in from the water. Inside the ogre fortress people are being abducted and chanting is heard after dark, which made Blizzard ask "Could it be cultists?" without answering.
At the cap, two instances matter for pre-raid preparation: Blackmaw Hold in Azshara, whose tunnels lead toward The Barrow Deeps raid, and Shaper's Terrace in Un'Goro. Raids unlock on December 9, 2026, so level 60 dungeon gear has five weeks in the spotlight. The Un'Goro facility is described as seemingly untouched by time, alive with wildlife and power crystals.
According to interview reports, the developers reduced experience from dungeon enemies and raised dungeon quest experience, specifically to discourage pulling characters through instances for levels. This has not been confirmed in writing, and final numbers may differ. We therefore make no claim that chained clears outpace questing. If levels are your goal, the leveling category is the right place; a WoW Forever dungeon carry is about drops, quests, Blueprints and Legacy.
All nine WoW Forever Dungeon Boost cards share one skeleton, so comparing them is easy. The single type buys one trip from entrance to end boss. The package type multiplies that trip by a figure you enter. The loot-targeted type has no fixed length: the group re-enters until the piece you want has dropped, and because nobody has seen the drop lists yet, you tell the booster which piece only after launch.
Loot distribution is a second switch with two positions, either first call on a wish list or the entire class-usable haul. A third switch sets the method: in Self-play you steer your own character alongside the boosters, in Piloted a booster steers it during a session you approved. Whatever you choose, the group is recruited from your own side, as Horde and Alliance cannot team up in WoW Forever.
You can order now; work starts on November 4, 2026. The weeks before launch are a calm moment to decide which of the WoW Forever dungeons you actually want to see with a prepared group, because during launch week everybody will be hunting for a tank at once.
The path of a purchase is short: options and payment first, then the job becomes visible to SkillCarry's vetted boosters, then one of them claims it and a three-way conversation (you, booster, support) opens. Evidence of the finished clears is posted at the end, which starts a 72-hour approval period; say yes, object, or let it approve itself. Should Blizzard postpone launch, a WoW Forever Dungeon Boost is postponed with it and loses nothing, and a purchase nobody has claimed yet can be withdrawn for the whole amount.
WoW Forever has no lists of worlds to pick from. Five data points single out a character: region, ruleset (Roleplaying, PvP or Normal), side, class, and a name made of two parts that is unique within the region. Those five are the fields of every Classic Plus dungeon boost form. Game Time or a subscription has to be running, and the character should sit inside the bracket shown in the table above, since nothing scales.
Blizzard has not announced one. Nothing official says that an automated dungeon finder exists in WoW Forever, and nothing official rules it out either, so we do not assert it one way or the other. With a WoW Forever Dungeon Boost the question does not arise: the group is assembled for you before the session.
No heroic or other extra dungeon difficulty has been announced. The nine new dungeons are each presented with one level range, and raids are described by the developers as single-difficulty. If Blizzard adds a harder dungeon mode later, separate listings will follow; today there is nothing to sell or promise.
Nine additions on top of everything the 1–60 game already had. Blizzard's roadmap schedules a further pair for spring 2027 and one more pair for the following summer. Catalog cards exist for the nine new instances; the originals are handled as custom orders through support.
Two of them: the dwarven tomb and the fallen capital shipped with week one of the test, next to every zone a level 20 character can use. Further instances and a cap of 30 are promised for later phases, without dates. Our runs take place in the live game only, since Blizzard has not promised that beta characters carry over.
Group size for the new dungeons has not been announced, so the cards do not state a number. What we can describe is the make-up: somebody tanks, somebody heals, the remaining seats deal damage, and your character holds one of those seats under either method.
Officially, a boss-specific item is blue at minimum; whether purple ones exist inside the new instances is unknown. Blizzard separately promised better epics among world drops and several hundred fresh items on rare spawns. Which bosses drop what is unknown until loot tables are released, so loot runs placed now get their target item later.
No earlier than launch, November 4, 2026, and no earlier than the moment your character enters the instance's bracket. Until then the purchase rests in the system. A postponed launch postpones the start and cancels nothing; leaving is possible with all money back while the job is still unclaimed by a booster.
