Overview

Buy WoW TBC The Skull of Gul'dan Boost and get Illidan's item level 151 caster trinket on your character. Trinkets are the slot casters fight over hardest, and Illidan sits behind a full temple clear, so you skip both the loot competition and the months of hoping your guild reaches the last boss and the Skull drops on the right night.

What Is The Skull of Gul'dan in TBC Anniversary?

The Skull of Gul'dan is an item level 151 trinket for casters, and it drops from Illidan Stormrage, the final boss of Black Temple. In Phase 3 of TBC Anniversary, 151 is the top item level for non-legendary raid loot, and Illidan alone drops two trinkets at that level: this one for damage casters and Memento of Tyrande for healers. A caster who owns the Skull usually keeps it until Sunwell.

Reaching Illidan: the Full Temple Clear

The Skull is the last item of the night. To get there, the raid works through all nine encounters, from Naj'entus and Supremus to Mother Shahraz and the Illidari Council, and the clear takes about 2 hours. That is the main reason this trinket stays out of reach for many players: one wipe late in the evening, and nobody sees Illidan that week. Our raid handles the whole route, and the trinket is reserved for your character. The complete raid is also sold as the Black Temple boost.

Options When You Order the Trinket

Three boost methods: Piloted, where the booster plays your character, Self Play, where you raid yourself, and Remote Control. The Gold field adds 300 to 2,000 gold, handy if your new trinket is the start of a regem. A live stream is available on Piloted and Remote Control.

Healers want the other trinket from the same boss: the Memento of Tyrande boost. Casters filling the weapon slot as well can look at the Tempest of Chaos boost from Archimonde.

How Long the Skull of Gul'dan Boost Takes

One Illidan kill per reset means one chance per week. When the Skull stays on the floor, the booster returns after the next reset, and the order is closed only when the trinket is in your bags. Most orders finish in 2–3 resets; a lucky first week is possible, a fixed date is not.

For every other Phase 3 item, open the TBC Anniversary gear boost hub.

Frequently asked questions

When does the Skull of Gul'dan boost start?

The booster confirms the start time in the order chat.

How many weeks will it take?

2–3 resets on average. Illidan can be looted once per reset, and the order continues until the trinket drops.

Is Memento of Tyrande part of this order?

No. Memento of Tyrande is the healer trinket from the same boss and has its own card.

Do I need to be online?

Not with Piloted: the booster plays your character. Only Self Play needs you in the raid yourself.
