What Is Auchenai Crypts in TBC Anniversary?
Auchenai Crypts is one of the four Auchindoun dungeons of The Burning Crusade, and its last boss is Exarch Maladaar. Heroic mode needs the Auchenai Key, sold by Lower City; the same key opens every Auchindoun wing on Heroic. On TBC Anniversary the account-wide key comes at Revered today, and from October 22 the requirement drops to Honored.
The Heroic version is a short badge stop: 2 Badges of Justice per clear and a guaranteed Primal Nether from Maladaar. Runs also raise Lower City, the faction whose tabard players show off at Exalted.
Heroic Auchenai Crypts Carry and Its Rewards
Every heroic boss gives each player a Badge of Justice. Until patch day heroics are the only place badges come from, and G'eras in Shattrath trades them for epic gear, Primal Nethers and Nether Vortex. Ten Heroic clears in one order put 20 badges and 10 Primal Nethers on your character.
Normal runs suit characters below level 70 or players who want Lower City progress without the key.
How to Configure the Boost Before You Buy
| Option | What it does |
|---|---|
| Dungeon difficulty | Normal, or Heroic for badges and the Primal Nether; Heroic costs more |
| Amount | 1 to 10 clears; from 3 runs up, the price per run goes down |
| Execution speed | Normal, Express or Super Express for faster start and finish |
| I need the Auchenai Key | Shown only with Heroic selected: the booster gets the key for you (Piloted and Remote Control) |
| Gold | 500 to 2,000 gold delivered with the order |
Play modes: Piloted, Self Play or Remote Control, and Piloted or Remote orders can add a live stream.
Start Time and Order Flow
Expect the first pull in about 1.5 hours. A single run is done in about 2 hours; longer packs are spread out on a plan the booster shares in the order chat.
Next door, the Mana-Tombs boost uses the same key, and the Shadow Labyrinth boost pays 4 badges per Heroic clear. For Exalted rather than badges, take the Lower City reputation boost. Every instance is in the TBC Anniversary dungeon catalog.
Frequently asked questions
How soon does an Auchenai Crypts run begin?
About 1.5 hours after payment. Express and Super Express move you up the queue.
How long is one clear?
About 2 hours from order to finished run for a single clear.
I have no Auchenai Key. Can I still buy Heroic?
Yes, with Piloted or Remote Control: tick "I need the Auchenai Key" and the booster obtains it first. On Self Play the key must already be on your character.
What decides the price?
Heroic is more expensive than Normal, faster speeds add to it, and bigger packs lower the cost per run. Key, stream and gold are add-ons.
