What Are Mounts in WoW?
Mounts are the collectibles players ride and show off. In Midnight they come from almost every activity: raid bosses on Mythic, meta achievements, solo delve challenges, Mythic+ and PvP ratings, and vendors that ask for huge sums of gold. The source decides how a mount boost works: one kill, a list of feats, a rating climb or a gold delivery.

Guaranteed Mount or a Drop Chance: Which Mount Carry to Buy
Most cards here end with the mount on your account, because the mount is tied to an achievement or a rating: the Glory metas, the solo delve feats, Keystone Master and Legend, and the Violet Proto-Drake. The Primeval Skyfriend is guaranteed too, since one Mythic Ula'tek kill with us delivers it. Ashes of Belo'ren is the drop card: each order is one attempt at Mythic Midnight Falls, and you can repeat it any week. Older raid Glories with mounts are in the achievement boost catalog.
For the Fungal Strider there is nothing to play. We deliver 500,000 to 5,000,000 gold, plus the sums for the Auctioneer and Transmogrifier unlocks if you want them, and you buy the mount from Showena yourself. Gold for anything else is on buy WoW gold.
When Mount Boosts Start and Which Mounts Leave
Patch 12.1.5 opens the Loa-Blessed Wayfarer and the Fungal Strider on October 13, 2026. The Strider is sold only until the end of Midnight. Season 2 rewards, such as the solo delve mounts, Keystone Master and Legend, the Vicious Lightbloom Boar and Gladiator, can be earned only while Season 2 runs, so start with those. Older Glory metas and the Violet Proto-Drake have no deadline.
Frequently asked questions
When can my mount boost start?
Most cards start shortly after the manager assigns a booster. The Primeval Skyfriend raid is set up for your preferred time, and the Loa-Blessed Wayfarer and Fungal Strider are available from October 13.
Which mounts are guaranteed?
Mounts tied to an achievement, such as the Glory metas, the solo delve feats and Keystone Master, plus the Primeval Skyfriend from our Mythic Ula'tek run. Ashes of Belo'ren is a drop: each order is one Mythic attempt.
Can I play along for a mount?
On the raid and Mythic+ cards, yes, with Self Play. The two solo delve mounts are Piloted or Remote Control only, because a second player in the party breaks the feat.
How long does a mount boost take?
From about 1–2 hours for the Strider gold and the Wayfarer kill to 3–4 weeks for Gladiator and up to a year for the Violet Proto-Drake. Each card lists its own time.
