What Is Cooking in TBC Anniversary?
Cooking is a secondary skill: it does not take one of your two profession slots, so every character can have it next to two main trades. In The Burning Crusade it runs to 375, and the Outland recipes near the top give the stat food that raiders and arena players eat before every pull or match.
The appeal is independence. A cook at 375 does not wait for a guildmate to hand out feasts or pay auction house prices for buff food the night before a Black Temple raid. Leftover dishes from the climb also make decent food for leveling alts.

About 20–22 hours of work covers one profession, including a full 375 cooking TBC order. Your booster sets the start time with you in the chat. Ordering a short top-up instead of the full climb? It simply takes a smaller share of that time.
