What Are the Aldor in TBC Anniversary?
The Aldor are one of the two Shattrath factions in TBC Anniversary, the draenei priesthood on Aldor Rise. They are mutually exclusive with the Scryers: raising one side lowers the other, so every character eventually has to pick. The Aldor are reached by turning in Marks of Sargeras, and that farm is what a TBC Anniversary The Aldor Boost takes off your hands.
The choice matters beyond flavor. It decides which profession recipes you can buy, and in Phase 3 the Marks of the Illidari from raids go to the Aldor bank in Shattrath, where they buy potions and flasks, including the new Haste and Destruction potions.
Buying the Aldor Boost: Fresh Choice or Side Switch
Two kinds of orders come in. A fresh Aldor character simply climbs to the target. A Scryer who wants to switch starts from a hostile Aldor standing, which is why this slider has one more step than most of our reputation cards: the range runs from 1 to 6. In both cases the TBC Anniversary The Aldor Boost ends at the tier you set, and the Scryers lose standing as the Aldor gain it.
