What Is Magtheridon's Lair in TBC Anniversary?
Magtheridon's Lair is a single-boss 25-player raid from Phase 1 of The Burning Crusade, and like Gruul it needs no attunement. Magtheridon himself is the whole raid: one pull, one kill, one loot window. On TBC Anniversary it opened on 19 February together with Karazhan and Gruul.
The boss drops the Tier 4 chest token, the piece that completes the five-part set with the Karazhan and Gruul tokens. He also drops Magtheridon's Head, a quest item that starts a ring quest.
Options in the Magtheridon Raid Boost
This card keeps the choice short. You pick the loot mode, realm and faction, Alliance or Horde, and the play mode: Self Play, Piloted or Remote Control. Piloted orders can add a Live stream, a private broadcast of the run. With Group loot the drops are shared by the raid; with Full loot priority all loot your class can use goes to you, and the order costs more. With Self Play you stay in control of your own character during the kill, and the order asks for no gear or raid experience.

How Fast the Magtheridon Carry Is Done
The raid takes about 30 minutes from the first pull to the loot. The start is agreed with the raid leader for your realm in the order chat. From 22 October Magtheridon also drops Badges of Justice, which makes the weekly kill worth more than the token alone.
Head, Gruul and the Phase 1 Bundle
If the ring quest is your target, the Magtheridon's Head boost makes sure the head goes to you. The shoulder and leg tokens come from the Gruul's Lair carry, and one order that covers all five Tier 4 token bosses is the Phase 1 All Raids Bundle. Other raids are in the TBC Anniversary raids section.
