Cursed Vision of Sargeras is an item level 151 leather helm that drops from Illidan Stormrage, the ninth and final boss of Black Temple. The raid opened on Anniversary realms with Phase 3 on 27 August, and Illidan is the encounter most groups need weeks to reach on a regular schedule.

At 151 the helm is five item levels above the Tier 6 head at 146, which makes it the strongest leather head piece the current phase offers. It shares a loot table with the legendary Warglaives, the Bulwark of Azzinoth and the Stormrage Signet Ring, so every Illidan kill has several players hoping for something.
