What Is The Black Morass in TBC Anniversary?

The Black Morass is the second Caverns of Time dungeon of The Burning Crusade. It opens only after a character has finished "Escape from Durnholde Keep" in Old Hillsbrad Foothills, which makes it a two-step unlock on Fresh TBC. Two things bring players back: Temporus, who drops the Hourglass of the Unraveller, an item level 112 trinket, and the Opening of the Dark Portal event itself, where Medivh must survive every wave.

Heroic needs the Key of Time from the Keepers of Time and pays 3 Badges of Justice per clear.

Before You Buy a Black Morass Carry

• Entry: your character must have completed "Escape from Durnholde Keep". If not, order the Old Hillsbrad Foothills boost with its quest option first.
• Heroic key: every group member needs the Key of Time. On TBC Anniversary the account-wide key comes at Revered until October 22 and at Honored after that patch. Tick "I need the Key of Time" with Heroic selected if you lack it.
• Quest: "I need to complete Black Morass quest" adds the dungeon's quest to the order on either difficulty.

Hourglass Runs and Heroic Badges

The Hourglass of the Unraveller is a random drop, so several runs are often needed. A pack of runs keeps the attempts coming without forming a new group every night. For a fixed target, the Hourglass of the Unraveller boost is sold as a separate item service.

On Heroic each clear also adds 3 Badges of Justice for G'eras in Shattrath and a guaranteed Primal Nether from the final boss.

Choose Piloted, Self Play or Remote Control; the quest, key and stream boxes exist only on Piloted and Remote Control. Express costs extra for a quicker pick-up and Super Express goes to the front. Up to 10 runs can be ordered, each extra one cheaper, and gold from 500 to 2,000 can be added in any mode.

Play usually starts about 1.5 hours after payment, and one run is done around 2 hours after the order; larger packs are planned in the order chat. The heroic dungeon keys boost gets the Key of Time and the other four heroic keys, and every instance is listed on the TBC Anniversary dungeon hub.
