What Is a Character Boost in WoW?
In Blizzard's shop, a Character Boost sets a new character to level 80, and Midnight leveling then runs from 80 to 90. Our WoW Character Boost covers what comes after: a level 90 character that needs better gear, Mistcrests for upgrades, renown ranks for faction rewards or the story chapters it skipped. Each order ends at a result you can check on the character sheet, in the currency tab, in the faction panel or in the quest log.

Gear Boost, BiS Gear or Mistcrests: Which to Buy
Buy Gear Boost when the number matters. You pick a target and a source, and any fitting drop counts: 292 is Mythic 0 loot, 305 a timed +6, 308 a +8 and 311 a +10. We guarantee the item level you chose, not specific drops, so the booster keeps playing until the target is reached.
Buy BiS Gear when you already have a decent set and want named items. The list is agreed with you in the order chat before the first run, and PvE lists reach 344, the item level of the last two Mythic bosses.
Buy Mistcrests to finish items you own. Each upgrade rank costs 20 crests, a full climb from rank 1 to 6 costs 100, and a Myth item ends at 334. For PvP sets on their own, see the PvP gear boost.
Story and Renown: Character Progress Outside Gear
The Campaign Boost plays the Midnight leveling campaign in full or by chapter, the War of Light and Shadow, the Coiled Isle story of patch 12.1 and The Promise of Tomorrow. A character below 90 can take the 80 to 90 add-on first, or order Midnight power leveling, which takes about 4–5 hours. After the story, the Renown Boost raises Silvermoon Court, Amani Tribe, Hara'ti, The Singularity or Zul'jarra's Forces to rank 20, or Ritual Sites to 8, where the Void-Touched Hawkstrider waits. Renown and campaign orders are Piloted or Remote Control; gear and crest orders also offer Self Play.
When Character Boosts Start: October 13 and October 20
All five cards can be ordered now. Patch 12.1.5 arrives on October 13, 2026 and opens The Promise of Tomorrow, the campaign that ends in the Kith'ix raid. In the week of October 20 the weekly crest cap of 100 per type is lifted, so large Mistcrest orders no longer wait on the weekly limit, and Ascendant Venomstones become available.

Is this the same as Blizzard's Character Boost?
No. Blizzard's shop boost sets a new character to level 80. Our Character Boost works on a character you already play: gear, crests, renown and story. Levels 80 to 90 are covered by Midnight power leveling.
When can my character boost start?
Gear and renown orders start 15–30 minutes after the manager assigns a booster. For BiS gear, Mistcrests and campaigns the booster confirms the start in the order chat. The Promise of Tomorrow is played from October 13.
How long does it take?
It depends on the target. The booster confirms the time for your item level, crest amount, renown range or chapter list in the order chat.
How is the price built?
Each calculator counts the distance to your goal: more item level, more crests or more renown ranks cost more. On the gear and renown cards, Express costs extra and gets maximum priority for start and completion.
