What a WoW TBC PvP Boost covers on Anniversary realms
Player-versus-player gear in The Burning Crusade is bought, not looted. Vendors sell it for three currencies: Honor Points from battlegrounds and world PvP, Marks of Honor from the four battleground maps, and Arena Points that arrive once a week based on your team rating. The best pieces add a second lock on top of the cost, a personal rating threshold. On the current Anniversary ladder, epic arena weapons open at 1700 and the season shoulders at 2000.
That split explains the catalog below. Some services fill a wallet, some push a number past a threshold, and a few chase a rank that only exists when the season closes. Choosing well starts with naming which of those three problems stands between your character and the item you want.
Currency services: honor, marks and weekly points
If the vendor item you want has no rating tag, you only need currency. Honor Points is the broadest option: the calculator lets you name a battleground such as Warsong Gulch, Arathi Basin, Alterac Valley or Eye of the Storm, so the matches also produce the marks that map awards, and three execution speeds (Normal, Express, Super Express) change how quickly the total lands. Marks of Honor isolates the token side for players who already hold enough honor but are short on one mark type that a vendor item lists next to its honor cost.
Arena currency is capped by the calendar rather than by hours played. Arena Points plays your ten weekly qualifying games in 2v2, 3v3 or 5v5 and asks for your current rating band (0-1800, 1800-2000 or 2000+), because higher-rated teams earn more per reset. Weekly Arena Cap is the leaner two-bracket version for 2v2 or 3v3. Both offer a Save my rating add-on for characters that already sit where they want to be and only need the points.
Rating thresholds: weapons, shoulders and the brackets
Rating orders are the core of any WoW TBC PvP Boost, since no amount of farming bypasses a personal rating requirement. The table compares the rating-based cards by ceiling and format.
| Service | Rating in calculator | Brackets | Methods listed |
|---|---|---|---|
| Arena 2v2 | 1500 to 2200 | 2v2 | Piloted, Remote Control, Self-play |
| Arena 3v3 | 1500 to 2100 | 3v3 | Piloted, Remote Control, Self-play |
| Arena 5v5 | 1500 to 1800 | 5v5 | Piloted |
| Arena PvP Weapon | 1700 fixed | 2v2 or 3v3 | Piloted, Remote Control, Self-play |
| 1700 + Extra Weekly Cap | 1700 fixed | 2v2 or 3v3 | Piloted, Remote Control, Self-play |
The two fixed-1700 cards solve the weapon problem from different ends. The weapon order is built around the rating unlock plus the points to buy the blade, while the 1700 card with an extra cap week adds a second reset of points so the purchase is not stalled by a thin wallet. The open-range 2v2 and 3v3 cards suit players aiming at 2000 shoulders or beyond. 5v5 tops out lower in our calculator, yet the bracket pays the most points for a given rating, so it appeals to point-hungry characters rather than rating hunters. Every bracket card can add full honor gear or full arena gear, which bundles the vendor shopping into the same order.
Season-end titles and the Nether Drake
Titles work differently: they are judged only when the season ends. Gladiator Title targets the top 0.5 percent of the ladder at the close, the cut that awards the Gladiator title together with an armored Nether Drake flying at 310 percent speed. Vengeful Gladiator Title goes after the season-branded version of the title, which stays in your title list after the season finishes, while the plain Gladiator title does not. Both cards list only Remote Control and Self-play, so the games run on your own computer, and both need your commitment across the whole season, not a single weekend.
Time and skill: hourly sessions and coaching
Not every buyer wants a fixed target. Arena Hourly Boosting sells time in queue with a partner or a full team, and the calculator lets you choose a multi-Gladiator or Rank 1 player for 2v2 or 3v3. Whatever rating and points those hours produce stay on your character. Arena Coaching is self-play only: you queue on your own character next to the coach, who comments on positioning, cooldown trades and target calls while the games happen. It fits a player who already has a partner and wants that partnership to climb unaided later.
A crafted outlier: Deep Thunder
Deep Thunder sits in this section because two-handed maces from the Hammersmith line are prized by melee in world PvP and battlegrounds, but it is a profession order, not a match order. The calculator offers three steps of the chain (Thunder, Deep Thunder, Stormherald), a choice between Aldor and The Scryers, and either reagents only or a full craft. The wielder must be a Master Hammersmith, so check that specialization before ordering.
Picking one card for your character
- You want a specific vendor piece with no rating tag: start with honor, marks or weekly points.
- The item shows 1700 or 2000 in red on the vendor: order a bracket climb or the weapon card.
- You want something that outlives the season: the two title cards are the only ones in this hub.
- You want to play the games yourself and improve: coaching or hourly sessions.
Mixing cards is common. A fresh level 70 often pairs an honor order for resilience with a weekly cap order, then returns for a rating push once the set is complete.
Before you place a WoW TBC PvP Boost order
The character must be level 70 on a TBC Anniversary realm; the calculators ask for the realm and, where relevant, the bracket. Rating cards count personal rating, so tell us if your character already belongs to an arena team in that bracket. Methods differ per card: Piloted means our player logs into your account, Remote Control runs the games through your own PC, and Self-play keeps you at the keyboard. Live stream and express start are optional add-ons on many cards. Start windows shown in each card are typical figures, and actual start depends on schedule.

Frequently asked questions
Which PvP currency do I need for the gear I want?
Check the vendor tooltip. Most honor gear costs Honor Points and sometimes Marks of Honor from a named battleground. Arena gear costs Arena Points, and the strongest arena items also show a personal rating requirement. If the tooltip lists a rating, currency alone will not unlock the purchase, and a bracket climb or the weapon card is the right starting order.
How many arena games does a character need each week to get points?
Points are awarded at the weekly reset only if the character played at least ten games in a bracket during that week. Arena Points and Weekly Arena Cap orders are built around exactly that requirement, so the games are completed before the reset in the bracket you selected at checkout.
Can I keep my current arena rating while buying points?
Yes. Arena Points and Weekly Arena Cap both have a Save my rating add-on. Choose it when your character already holds a rating you rely on for a purchase, and the qualifying games are handled so that rating is protected. Leave it off if you only care about the points.
Is 2v2 or 3v3 the better bracket for a rating order?
2v2 reaches a higher ceiling in our calculator, up to 2200, and needs only one partner. 3v3 goes up to 2100 and earns more points per week at the same rating. If the aim is shoulders at 2000, both brackets work; if points matter more, 3v3 or the 5v5 card gives better weekly income.
Why do the Gladiator cards not offer Piloted play?
Title orders run for an entire season and involve many games on your character. For that reason the calculator lists only Remote Control, where the games are played through your own computer, and Self-play, where you sit in the team yourself. Your login details stay with you in both formats.
Does Deep Thunder require a blacksmith on my character?
The mace can only be equipped by a Master Hammersmith. With the reagents-only option you receive materials and craft the weapon yourself. The full craft option covers the crafting as well. Check your Blacksmithing specialization before ordering, because the item cannot be worn otherwise.
Can I combine several PvP services in one order?
Each card is checked out separately, but many cards carry add-ons that merge common steps, such as full honor gear or full arena gear on the bracket cards and an extra cap week on the 1700 card. If you plan a sequence, such as honor first and a rating push next, mention it in the order notes so scheduling lines up.
