What Is the Eternium Runed Blade in TBC Anniversary?
The Eternium Runed Blade is a Blacksmithing craft that needs skill 365, close to the profession cap of 375 in The Burning Crusade. Its plans are not sold by a trainer or vendor: they come from a world drop rather than from a fixed boss, so there is no single target to farm for them.
That makes the blade a rare sight on many Fresh TBC realms. Plenty of blacksmiths reach 365, but only the few who looted the pattern can make it.
Why Players Buy the Blade Instead of Hunting the Pattern
Getting it the usual way means three separate problems. First you need a blacksmith at 365. Then that blacksmith needs the world-drop pattern, which may simply not exist on your realm yet. Finally you need every reagent and a time when the crafter is online. This boost takes all three off your list, and you can buy the finished blade for an alt just as easily as for your main.
