What Is Black Temple in TBC Anniversary?

Black Temple is the 25-player raid that brought Illidan Stormrage to TBC Anniversary with Phase 3 on 27 August. Nine bosses stand in the way: Naj'entus, Supremus, Shade of Akama, Teron Gorefiend, Gurtogg Bloodboil, Reliquary of Souls, Mother Shahraz, the Illidari Council and Illidan. Three of them drop Tier 6 tokens, and the temple also holds Madness of the Betrayer from the Council, Shadowmaster's Boots from Shahraz and Syphon of the Nathrezim from Supremus, all item level 141.

Illidan's own loot table is what draws most buyers: the item level 156 Warglaives of Azzinoth for Warriors and Rogues, plus the Bulwark of Azzinoth, Memento of Tyrande, The Skull of Gul'dan, Stormrage Signet Ring, Cursed Vision of Sargeras and Zhar'doom, each at 151.

Loot Modes and Add-ons of the BT Carry

2 items guaranteed: you receive 2 items of your choice from the run.
Loot Priority: every drop your class can use goes to you; it costs more.
Tier 6 set or Tier set top-up: the order runs until the Tier 6 pieces you ordered are yours, usually 2–3 resets.
Warglaives of Azzinoth: guaranteed; Illidan is farmed until both blades are yours.
Seat for a friend, Heart of Darkness priority, Epic gem priority: a second character in the run, or first claim on those drops.

How Long a Black Temple Raid Boost Takes

A full clear takes about 2 hours. You pick the start with the raid leader on your realm in the order chat. Add-ons such as the Warglaives or a full set extend the order over several resets.
