What Is Arena Rating in TBC Anniversary?

Arena rating is the number that measures one team bracket of your character in The Burning Crusade arenas. On TBC Anniversary every character starts at 1,500, not at zero, and once a week a rating that slipped under 1,500 can be reset to 1,500 for gold. The current ladder is Arena Season 3, which opened on 1 September in North America and a day later in Europe, with Vengeful Gladiator's gear at item level 146.

Rating matters twice. It unlocks Vengeful vendor items, starting with weapons at 1,700, and it sets your weekly arena points. A bracket pays out only after at least 10 games that week, and only your best bracket counts at the reset.

3v32,10088%
5v51,800100%

Set the rating you have now and the one you want, and the price follows the size of that climb and the bracket you pick. 2v2 is the only bracket that reaches 2,200. 5v5 pays the full point value but stops at 1,800 on this card.

How Long the Rating Carry Takes

Our arena team usually needs 1–3 days for 1,800, 3–5 days for 2,000 and 7–9 days for 2,200. The start time is agreed in the order chat. You can follow every evening of games on your team tab.

Play Modes and What to Prepare Before You Buy

Play modes: Piloted, Self Play or Remote Control; Self Play costs more than Piloted. With Self Play you sit in the team yourself, so you need basic arena skill, the discipline to follow calls and a full Season 3 PvP set. Piloted and Remote Control orders need only the level 70 character on one of the four realms.

No resilience yet? The honor gear service fills the slots before the first rated match. Players who only care about the weapon can take the Arena PvP Weapon boost, which also collects the points, while the season title is handled on the Gladiator boost card. All rated and battleground services are listed in the TBC Anniversary PvP catalog.

Frequently asked questions

When can my arena boost start?

Right after the booster is assigned. The start time is agreed with you in the order chat, and Piloted games are played in the windows you set there.

How long does it take to reach 2,000 rating?

Usually 3–5 days. 1,800 takes 1–3 days and 2,200 in 2v2 takes 7–9 days.

Which bracket should I choose?

2v2 is the only one that goes to 2,200. 3v3 pays more arena points per week at the same rating, and 5v5 pays the full value but stops at 1,800 on this card.

Can I play the games myself?

Yes, with Self Play. You need basic arena skill, you follow the calls of our players and you wear a full Season 3 PvP set. Self Play costs more than Piloted.
