WoW TBC Anniversary

WoW TBC Raids Boost: Tier 4 to Sunwell, Bundles and Quest Drops

The WoW TBC Raids Boost catalog groups every Anniversary raid order by phase, from the Tier 4 trio of Karazhan, Gruul's Lair and Magtheridon's Lair up to Sunwell Plateau. Each card states how loot is handled before the pull, so you know what the lockout is supposed to give your character.

Price range: $315.00 – $315.00

How the Anniversary raid tiers are split

The Burning Crusade released its raids in stages, and the Anniversary realms follow the same ladder. Each stage has its own tier set, and tier pieces come as tokens that a boss drops and a vendor exchanges for the version of your class. Knowing which boss holds which token matters more than raid names, because a single lockout rarely finishes a set.

Loot modes on a WoW TBC Raids Boost

Two words decide what a raid order is worth: the loot mode. Item-count cards set a minimum number of items usable by your spec. Karazhan and Serpentshrine Cavern offer three, Tempest Keep two, and the loot runs of Zul'Aman and Sunwell Plateau set their own minimum of two and three. If the drops fall short of that figure, the run is repeated on a later lockout. The alternative is Loot Priority, where every drop your character can use goes to you before anyone else rolls. It suits players who want the full table rather than a count.

Several cards add a targeted priority on top. Gruul's Lair and the Phase 1 bundle carry a Dragonspine Trophy priority switch for the physical-damage trinket that Gruul drops. Tempest Keep and the Phase 2 bundle carry a Verdant Sphere priority switch, and the Phase 2 cards can reserve Nether Vortex as well. On the T5 cards you will also see a Tier 5 set add-on and a Tier Set Top-up for filling missing slots.

Phase 1: Karazhan, Gruul and Magtheridon

Phase 1 is where a fresh 70 starts. Karazhan is the long ten-player tower, and its card has a friend add-on so a second character can join the same run at a reduced rate, an option the T5 cards share. Gruul's Lair is short, two bosses, and valued for the tier shoulders and legs plus Dragonspine Trophy. Magtheridon's Lair is one fight, and the loot pool contains items between item level 120 and 125 besides the T4 chest token. The Phase 1 All Raids Bundle clears all three within one reset and adds a bonus piece on top of the individual item counts.

Phase 2: Serpentshrine Cavern and Tempest Keep

With Tier 5, the loot pool widens and the raids get harder. Serpentshrine Cavern runs 6/6 up to Lady Vashj; Tempest Keep runs 4/4 up to Kael'thas Sunstrider. The Phase 2 All Raids card books both lockouts at once with a minimum of five items plus one bonus, and it is the natural pick for anyone who wants every T5 slot within the same week. Both single-raid cards let you pick your faction and realm pair from the dropdown, which matters because 25-player groups are formed per faction.

Single trophies: Magtheridon's Head, Verdant Sphere, Nether Vortex

Some of the most requested orders are not full raids at all. Magtheridon's Head is the quest trophy that starts a ring reward with four versions to choose from, and the turn-in also triggers a buff in Hellfire Peninsula. Verdant Sphere is its Phase 2 counterpart from Kael'thas, opening a quest with four item level 138 necklaces. Nether Vortex is a crafting reagent from Serpentshrine Cavern and Tempest Keep used in Blacksmithing, Leatherworking and Tailoring patterns; the card delivers up to ten. These three list Self-play and Piloted, and Nether Vortex also lists Remote.

Later tiers: Zul'Aman and Sunwell Plateau

Zul'Aman is a ten-player troll raid of six bosses with epic items between item level 128 and 141, and the card offers a Timed run add-on for groups that race its timer. Sunwell Plateau closes the expansion: six bosses ending with Kil'jaeden, loot between item level 146 and 154, and Sunmotes used in item exchanges. Both cards share three execution speeds (Normal, Express, Super Express), a choice that does not appear on the Tier 4 or Tier 5 cards.

Legacy section and bundles for older content

The Legacy Raids subhub collects the remaining catalog: Hyjal Summit and Black Temple with a Phase 3 bundle, pay-on-drop runs, Naxxramas and Temple of Ahn'Qiraj for collectors, and raid consumables. Use it when the item you need drops from Archimonde or Illidan rather than from the raids above.

Choosing and preparing for the run

  • One missing tier token: pick the raid that drops it from the table and choose Loot Priority.
  • Gearing from zero at 70: a phase bundle covers more slots per reset than single raids.
  • A quest reward only: order the trophy card, not the full clear.
  • Watching the run live: most cards list a Live stream add-on.

Every WoW TBC Raids Boost needs a level 70 character on an Anniversary realm, the faction and realm pair selected in the calculator, and a free raid lockout for the week of the run. Self-play means you join the group on your character and stay in the raid; Piloted means our raider logs in and plays it. If your character still needs an attunement for a raid, mention it in the order notes so it is checked before scheduling.

Frequently asked questions

Which TBC raid should I buy first on a new level 70?

Start with Phase 1. Karazhan gives the widest spread of ten-player loot and the T4 helm and gloves, while Gruul's Lair and Magtheridon's Lair add shoulders, legs and chest. If you plan to do all three, the Phase 1 bundle clears them within one reset and adds a bonus piece.

What is the difference between an item-count run and Loot Priority?

An item-count option fixes the minimum number of items for your spec, and the run repeats on another lockout if that number is not reached. Loot Priority does not promise a count, but gives you first claim on every drop you can use, so a lucky clear can bring more items than a fixed count would.

Does the order include the tier token for my class?

Tier tokens drop at random from specific bosses, so the table on this page shows where each one comes from. With Loot Priority, any token your class uses goes to you. On the T5 cards, the Tier 5 set and Tier Set Top-up add-ons exist for filling slots that did not drop.

Can I stay online and play my own character in the raid?

Yes. Every full raid card lists Self-play, where you join the group on your own character and follow the raid leader. Piloted is also available on those cards if you would rather not be present during the clear.

How do I get Dragonspine Trophy or Verdant Sphere specifically?

Dragonspine Trophy drops from Gruul, and the Gruul's Lair card and the Phase 1 bundle have a priority switch for it. Verdant Sphere drops from Kael'thas Sunstrider; you can order the Verdant Sphere card alone or add sphere priority on Tempest Keep or the Phase 2 bundle.

Why do I choose faction and realm in the raid calculator?

Raid groups are formed on one realm and one faction. The dropdown lists the realm and faction pairs we currently run, so the order goes straight to the group that can invite your character without transfers.

Where are Black Temple and Hyjal Summit?

They are in the Legacy Raids subhub together with the Phase 3 bundle, pay-on-drop runs, classic raids such as Naxxramas and Temple of Ahn'Qiraj, and raid consumables. Open that section from the link on this page.
