Overview
Buy PoE 2 Against the Darkness and get the Time-Lost jewel with the mod pair your build uses, without running the Sekhemas for it. The jewel needs a full trial run, a kill of Zarokh the Temporal and the relic The Desperate Alliance on the altar, and the mods you get are left to chance. Choose league and mods here, then accept one trade.

What Is Against the Darkness in Path of Exile 2?
Against the Darkness is a unique jewel on the Time-Lost Diamond base, in the game since 0.1.0. It carries a mix of small bonuses: extra elemental or chaos damage, resistances and maximum resistances. It has a level 1 requirement, so any character can socket it into the passive tree.
Time-Lost jewels are rewards of the Trial of the Sekhemas, the ascension trial with up to 4 floors and Honour as your survival pool. This one comes from Zarokh the Temporal, the final floor boss, when the relic The Desperate Alliance sits on your Relic Altar. Every attempt needs that relic and a clear of all four floors.
Jewel Mod Pairs You Can Buy
In Forbidden Rites Softcore and Runes of Aldur Softcore the calculator asks for one mod pair:
| Type | Pairs |
|---|---|
| Two extra-damage mods | Cold + Lightning, Cold + Fire, Cold + Chaos, Fire + Lightning, Fire + Chaos, Lightning + Chaos |
| Extra damage + Spirit | Fire + Spirit, Lightning + Spirit, Chaos + Spirit, Cold + Spirit |
Each pair has its own price. In Forbidden Rites the Spirit pairs and Cold + Lightning are the expensive ones; Fire + Chaos is the cheapest. Pick the damage types your skills actually deal, since a mod for an element you do not use adds nothing.
Runes of Aldur Hardcore, Standard Softcore and Standard Hardcore are also on sale, but without a mod choice. The Runes of Aldur Hardcore copy costs more. Express delivery is a paid checkbox that puts your order first.
Order Start and Jewel Delivery
Once you pay, you receive an in-game message and a trade window in your league; the hand-over takes about 15 minutes.
Zarokh also drops Temporalis, and if you want to clear the trial yourself with help, see our Trial of the Sekhemas boost. For a corrupted jewel that adds jewel sockets, look at Voices, or browse the full unique items range.
Frequently asked questions
