What Is the Long Grind in Path of Exile 2?

Most progress in Path of Exile 2 is measured in hours. The campaign has 4 Acts and 3 Interludes, and the Interludes alone take a character from about level 60 to 65. Reaching level 90 takes about 20 hours, while level 100, the cap, takes about 18 days of play. After that come maps on Waystones from Tier 1 to Tier 16 and an Atlas passive tree whose points come from map bosses, mechanic maps and pinnacle kills.

None of it is hard to understand, but all of it takes time. Gold is a good example: it is bound to your account and cannot be traded, so the only way to get more is to farm it on your own characters.

What You Can Buy Hourly Play For

The hours follow your list. Typical orders are a few hours of levelling, a block of maps to push Waystone tiers, Atlas points from Fortress map bosses, or a farm for gold and currency. Everything that drops during the session stays with your character. If your goal is one fixed result rather than time, a dedicated card is often a better fit: power leveling for levels or the gold farm for a set amount of gold.
