What Is a Custom Build in Path of Exile 2?
Path of Exile 2 currently has 8 classes and 22 regular ascendancies, plus Abyssal Lich as an alternate one for the Witch. Add the passive tree, the many skill and support combinations and the gear that ties them together, and most possible builds never appear on any guide site. A custom build is one of those: a combination you choose, not one picked from a list.
The ascendancy decides a lot, and it is permanent once taken. If your character already has one, the PoE 2 Custom Build has to use it; nodes can still be respecced for gold.
What to Write in Your Order
- Class and ascendancy, or "none yet" if the character has not chosen.
- The main skill and, if you know them, key supports or uniques. Single items can also be bought through the unique items catalog.
- What the build should do well: clear speed, bosses, tankiness.
- A planner link, if you already worked one out.
The booster reads the plan in the order chat and confirms it can be done at your Build Power before the work starts.
Build Power for a Build Made for You
Four tiers set how far the build service goes and what it costs. Early-game is the entry point, Mid-game and End-game add more, and Uber is the strongest version. Each tier has its own level box: 70, 80, or 90 for both End-game and Uber. If your character is already at that level, tick it and the leveling is taken off the price.
Work happens in Self Play, Piloted, or Remote Control. A Stream of the session is an extra on Piloted, and Express execution is a paid option for maximum priority at start and completion.
Custom Build or a Class Card?
If your idea matches a preset on a class card, for example a Titan on the Warrior build card, that card is the quicker choice. Choose this card when the combination is your own. And if you are not sure what is wrong with a character you already play, a build check is the cheaper first step.
Leagues, Start and Delivery
The calculator lists Forbidden Rites in Softcore, and Runes of Aldur and Standard in Softcore or Hardcore. Work starts within about 15 minutes, and the custom build boost takes about 12 hours. Every class card is in the PoE 2 builds catalog.
