What Is a League Start in Path of Exile 2?
Every challenge league opens with an empty economy. Forbidden Rites, the current event league of patch 0.5.5, started on September 4, 2026, and nobody carried an item or an orb into it. Characters are built from scratch: 4 Acts and 3 Interludes of campaign, roughly 20 hours to reach level 90, then maps on the Atlas. The players who gear up first in that window get the cheapest upgrades and the fastest map clears.
A league start is also when good items are hardest to find. Trade prices move every day, and a character that reached maps in campaign leftovers often cannot kill fast enough to farm its own upgrades.
What the Starter Pack Service Covers
The bundle covers the slots that hold a build back. Before work starts, you tell the booster your class, ascendancy and main skill, and the items are matched to that plan. The PoE 2 Starter Bundle is one order for one character; buying several characters means several orders. If you have not picked a build yet, the league starter builds card helps you choose first.
Calculator Options for the League Start Bundle
- Choose league: Forbidden Rites, Runes of Aldur or Standard, each on Softcore. Items stay in the league they were made in, so pick the one your character plays.
- Boost method: Self Play, Piloted or Remote Control.
The bundle costs the same in all three leagues; only the boost method changes the price.
Start and Duration of Your Starter Bundle Boost
Work begins within about 15 minutes, and the bundle is complete in about 18 hours. When it is done, you get screenshots. Orders run in the league picked in the calculator; after 1.0 launches on December 11, 2026, the cards move to the new league.
