What Is the Ranger in Path of Exile 2?
The Ranger is one of the 8 classes in Path of Exile 2 and, like the Druid, currently has two ascendancies: Deadeye and Pathfinder. A third is planned for every class, but for now any PoE 2 Ranger Build sits on one of these two paths. The decision cannot be reversed; you can respec ascendancy nodes for gold, never the ascendancy itself.
Two presets here are a poe 2 deadeye build, one is a poe 2 pathfinder build, so the card covers both paths the class has today.

If you like Ice Shot but want three ascendancies to choose from later, compare the Huntress build boost. A Ranger that already took Pathfinder can only take Poisonburst or a Specific Build on that path.
How Build Power and the Level Box Shape the Boost
Build Power is the main price driver: Early-game is the entry tier, Mid-game and End-game step up, Uber is the strongest and costs the most. Under each tier sits a level box, 70 for Early-game, 80 for Mid-game and 90 for the top two. Tick it only when your Ranger has really reached that level; then the leveling drops out of the total. A brand-new Ranger still in the acts can get there faster with a campaign boost first.
Self Play, Piloted and Remote Control are the play modes, with Stream as a Piloted add-on. Express execution costs extra and puts the order at maximum priority.
Ranger Orders Now and After 1.0
Leagues on the card: Forbidden Rites Softcore, plus Runes of Aldur and Standard in Softcore and Hardcore. Forbidden Rites runs until the 1.0 release on December 11, 2026; after that, the cards move to the new league, and every order is played in the league selected in the calculator. For a fresh start on launch day, the league starter builds include Ice Shot and Twister.
Work starts within about 30 minutes, and a full Ranger boost takes about 12 hours. All classes are in the PoE 2 build catalog.
