What Is Olroth in Path of Exile 2?
Olroth, Origin of the Fall, is an Expedition boss. You meet him on Obscure Island, a unique map that opens from Expedition Logbooks. He is not the Expedition pinnacle; that title goes to The Aberration.
Two things make the trip worth it. His drops include Olrovasara, Svalinn and Olroth's Resolve, and every Expedition boss you defeat adds 6 points to the Expedition side of the Atlas passive tree.
Logbooks, Obscure Island and the Atlas Tree
Each visit to the island needs a Logbook, so the fight is never just one click away. Atlas passives cannot be respecced, and side-tree points come only from that mechanic's content, which makes Expedition bosses the direct route to the Expedition tree. Our Atlas boost sells up to 4 Expedition boss kills inside a wider Atlas order; this card is for Olroth alone, as often as you need him.
