What Is the Atlas in Path of Exile 2?

The Atlas is the endgame map of Path of Exile 2. You open maps on it with Waystones from Tier 1 to Tier 16, where T1 is area level 65 and T16 is area level 80. Progress is stored in the Atlas passive tree: one main tree plus side trees for each mechanic. Main points come from map bosses inside the Precursor Fortress, special Fortress maps give extra, and killing the non-quest Arbiter of Divinity completes every Fortress map, enough for the whole main tree.

Side-tree points come from that mechanic's maps, plus 6 for each pinnacle boss kill; the Expedition tree gets 6 per Expedition boss. There is no cap on points, but Atlas passives cannot be respecced, so it pays to know your plan before you spend them.

Options, Leagues and Play Modes

If your character has not finished the story yet, add Campaign completion and the booster takes it through the acts first.
