What Is an Uncut Support Gem in Path of Exile 2?
An Uncut Support Gem lets you engrave a support gem of your choice. A support modifies the skill it is linked to, so the same attack can play very differently with other supports. Uncut Support Gems come in five levels, written as I to V.
Because every skill wants several supports, they are the gem you need in the largest numbers. A new build or a switch of main skill can ask for many supports at the same moment.
Support Gem Levels and Amount
The calculator offers all five tiers, I, II, III, IV and V, as checkboxes, plus an amount from 1 to 50. In the Softcore variants every tier shares one price, so the bill mostly follows the quantity. Runes of Aldur Hardcore is priced higher than Softcore.
| Tier | When players buy it |
|---|---|
| I – II | Early campaign links for a new character |
| III | Mid campaign upgrades |
| IV – V | Late campaign and endgame setups |
Leagues and Delivery Speed
Five variants are on the list: Forbidden Rites Softcore, Runes of Aldur Softcore and Hardcore, Standard Softcore and Standard Hardcore. In the Softcore variants you can choose Express delivery, which costs extra and puts your trade at the front; Hardcore orders go out at Standard speed. Both seasonal leagues run until the 1.0 release on December 11, 2026, and later orders are played in the current league selected in the calculator.
After payment, you meet the booster in game at a time set in the order chat, check the tiers and count, and accept.
Regular Supports or Lineage Supports
Uncut gems cover the regular PoE 2 support gems only. The stronger lineage versions cannot be engraved and are sold by name on the lineage support gems card. The skills themselves come from Uncut Skill Gems. Not sure which supports your skill needs? A build check answers that before you buy. More gems are in the PoE 2 gems shop.
Frequently asked questions
When do I get the support gems?
Usually about 15 minutes after the order, once you are online in the chosen league. Express puts Softcore orders first.
Can I order different tiers together?
Yes. Tick every tier you need, and all gems come in one trade.
Can I engrave a lineage support from these gems?
No. Lineage support gems cannot be engraved from uncut gems; they are a separate card.
Is Express available in Hardcore?
No. The calculator offers Express only in the Softcore variants.
