Overview

Buy WoW TBC Tempest Keep Boost to see Al'ar, Void Reaver, High Astromancer Solarian and Kael'thas Sunstrider fall in one reset. Tier 5 pauldron tokens fall from Void Reaver and chestguard tokens from the prince, so pairing this raid with SSC helm, gloves or leggings is how a T5 four-piece bonus comes together.

Loot comes either as a two-item minimum for your spec or as Loot Priority, with a separate choice on whether the Verdant Sphere goes to you. Extras: Verdant Sphere with the two-item mode, a Tier 5 set, a Tier Set Top-up, Nether Vortex priority and a reduced-rate friend seat. Piloted or Self-play is picked separately.

What’s included

Why Kael'thas stops so many groups

The Eye is short on bosses but long on execution. Al'ar is a phoenix that moves between platforms, then rebirths for a second phase. Void Reaver, a giant arcane construct, is the most forgiving of the four. Solarian splits into agents and marks players with Wrath of the Astromancer. Then comes Kael'thas: a council of four advisors, a wave of enchanted weapons the raid must defeat and equip, the advisors revived, the prince in person, and finally a gravity lapse where the room loses its floor. One wipe late in phase five costs an entire evening, which is why pickup attempts rarely see the chest token.

Boss-by-boss loot in the WoW TBC Tempest Keep Boost

BossWhat matters for gearing
Al'arEpic armor and weapons, no tier token
Void ReaverPauldrons of the Vanquished Champion, Defender or Hero
High Astromancer SolarianCaster and healer pieces, no tier token
Kael'thas SunstriderChestguard of the Vanquished tokens, the Verdant Sphere, the very rare phoenix mount

The best-itemized pieces, up to ilvl 141, sit with the final boss. The phoenix mount is never part of a promise; should it appear, the loot rules you picked decide its owner.

The Verdant Sphere and what "Sphere prio" means

Every Kael'thas kill yields one Verdant Sphere, a quest starter that A'dal in Shattrath exchanges for a choice of four neck pieces. Since only one exists per raid, it gets its own switch. On the two-item mode you can add Verdant Sphere to claim it. On Loot Priority there are two variants, Sphere prio required or not required: with the first, the sphere is reserved for you; if not, it stays with the raid while every other usable item still comes your way.

Two items or the whole table

Someone chasing one or two named upgrades is best served by the two-item floor; a week that falls short simply leads to another visit. A fresh raider missing half the Phase 2 list gets more from Loot Priority, and adding Top-up steers missing T5 tokens toward that character. The remaining extras combine with either mode wherever the calculator shows them.

What the calculator asks for

Configuring a WoW TBC Tempest Keep Boost takes four decisions: loot mode with its Sphere variant, any extras, how the character gets played, and your server details. With Piloted, one of our raiders steers your hero while you are away from the PC. With Self-play, you sit in the raid yourself and follow instructions. Once the order is in, we match it to a scheduled Eye clear and send a drop report after Kael'thas dies.

Getting into The Eye

Entry needs The Tempest Key. A'dal awards it after a series of heroic Outland tasks capped by the death of Magtheridon. Beyond that key, we only ask that the character is 70 and holds no Tempest Keep save this week. The WoW TBC Tempest Keep Boost is also sold together with Serpentshrine Cavern; both are listed in our Burning Crusade raid services.

Frequently asked questions

Is there an attunement for Tempest Keep?

Yes. The door checks for The Tempest Key, the reward of Trial of the Naaru: Magtheridon. The Magtheridon step only opens after three earlier trials completed in heroic Outland dungeons. We can add the key to your order if it is still missing.

What level does my character need?

Level 70 is the entry bar. Gear matters much less because the raid team carries the encounters, though Karazhan-level items help your character live through the gravity lapse, when every raider floats and dodges at once.

How long does a Tempest Keep run take?

All four bosses are killed within the same weekly lockout. Which night depends on open spots on your server and side; we propose a few evenings and confirm the one that suits you before anything begins.

Will I get Ashes of Al'ar?

Only if it drops, and it drops rarely. Kael'thas has it on his loot table, but no option can force the mount. If it appears during your run under Loot Priority, it can be assigned to you like any other item from that kill.

Which reward should I take for the Verdant Sphere?

The four options from A'dal are The Sun King's Talisman, The Darkener's Grasp, Telonicus's Pendant of Mayhem and Lord Sanguinar's Claim. Each leans toward a different role, so compare their stats with your spec. The choice is yours after the quest is turned in.

Is there a discounted seat for a second character?

Yes. Loot Priority orders can add a friend spot at a reduced rate. The extra character raids as a normal member of the group, which means it also needs to be 70, carry The Tempest Key and have no Tempest Keep lockout for that week.
