What Is Zul'Aman in TBC Anniversary?

Zul'Aman is the Amani troll stronghold in the Ghostlands, and Blizzard opens it on TBC Anniversary realms on October 22, 2026, at 3:00 pm PDT (23:00 BST). It is a level 70 raid for 10 players with no attunement, so any capped character can enter on day one. Six bosses wait inside: Nalorakk, Akil'zon, Jan'alai, Halazzi, Hex Lord Malacrass and finally Zul'jin. Unlike Karazhan, the other 10-player raid of The Burning Crusade, it has no tier tokens.

For a Fresh TBC character it is the first new raid since Black Temple and Hyjal in August. From patch day every Zul'Aman boss also drops Badges of Justice, the currency G'eras in Shattrath trades for epic gear, Primal Nethers and Nether Vortex.

What the Zul'Aman Boost Includes

Your TBC Anniversary Zul'Aman Boost is one complete clear, from Nalorakk to Zul'jin, on your own character. The loot model is chosen in the calculator before checkout:

Calculator Options for the Zul'Aman Carry

Mode: Piloted, Self Play or Remote Control. With Self Play you raid on your own character and need no gear or experience.
Realm and faction: Thunderstrike or Spineshatter for EU, Dreamscythe or Nightslayer for US, Alliance or Horde.
Speed: Normal, Express for higher priority or Super Express for top priority in the booster queue. Both faster tiers cost extra.
Timed run (Amani War Bear + hostage chests): the group plays against the raid timer and frees the hostages. If the mount is all you want, the Amani War Bear mount service sells it on its own.
Live stream: a private broadcast of your raid.

When You Can Buy and When the Raid Starts

You can buy the boost today as a pre-order; runs begin from October 22, 2026, the day the raid goes live. The booster on your realm confirms the exact raid time in the order chat. Express and Super Express move your order up the queue for the first available group.

Planning Your Raid Week Around Zul'Aman

After Zul'jin, the next step up in item level is a Black Temple carry, open to any level 70 character. Players saving Badges of Justice for G'eras can add a daily heroic boost, since heroic bosses drop one badge per player.
