Overview
Buy PoE 2 The Gnashing Sash and get the Wide Belt that lets flask life recovery overflow your maximum life, ready in your Softcore league. Its only source is The Eater of Flesh, a boss at a Corrupted Nexus, which means hunting down nexus after nexus on the Atlas for a single drop. A trade order gives you the belt without that detour.

What Is The Gnashing Sash in Path of Exile 2?
The Gnashing Sash is a unique belt on the Wide Belt base with a level 60 requirement. Its main line lets life recovery from flasks overflow your maximum life, so a flask can lift you above your normal cap. The trade-off is a second line that makes you lose 5 % of your life per second. The belt also adds chaos resistance.
It drops from The Eater of Flesh, the boss you meet at a Corrupted Nexus on the Atlas. The item has been in the game since patch 0.2.0, and builds that lean on flask recovery value it for the extra buffer.
Why Players Buy The Gnashing Sash
The belt has a single source, so every attempt means finding and clearing another Corrupted Nexus. That can stretch over many mapping sessions. Buying the belt lets you test the overflow playstyle today and decide whether your flasks and life regeneration keep up with the 5 % drain. If you want the nexus content for your own Atlas progress anyway, Doryani's questline in our Atlas Masters service is built around cleansing Corrupted Nexuses.
League Choice and Express Option
| League | Notes |
|---|---|
| Forbidden Rites - Softcore | The current event league; the cheaper option for this belt |
| Runes of Aldur - Softcore | The 0.5 league; the more expensive option for this belt |
Standard and Hardcore leagues are not offered on this card. The Express delivery checkbox costs extra and gives your order maximum priority.
How the Gnashing Sash Trade Works
A booster invites your character in the league you picked and passes the belt through the trade window, about 15 minutes after you order. Before you order, check that your Softcore character in Forbidden Rites or Runes of Aldur has reached level 60, since the Wide Belt cannot be equipped any earlier. Type that character's name at checkout so the booster sends the trade invite to the right player in your league.
Weighing other belts? Mageblood rolls four Mage's Legacy mods, and Headhunter steals rare monster modifiers. The rest of our range is on the unique items overview.
Frequently asked questions
How quickly is the belt delivered?
About 15 minutes after payment. The trade invite arrives after a booster is assigned, and Express delivery handles your order first.
What do I need to use it?
A character at level 60 in the league you selected. Enter its name at checkout so the booster can send the trade.
Why is Runes of Aldur more expensive than Forbidden Rites here?
The calculator prices each league by what the belt costs to source there. For The Gnashing Sash, Runes of Aldur Softcore is currently the pricier choice.
Can I get it in Standard?
Not on this card. Only Forbidden Rites Softcore and Runes of Aldur Softcore are available.
