What Is the Witch in Path of Exile 2?
The Witch is one of the 8 classes in Path of Exile 2, with three regular ascendancies, Infernalist, Blood Mage and Lich, plus one alternate ascendancy: Abyssal Lich. That makes her the class with the most paths today. As with every class, the first choice is permanent. Nodes can be respecced for gold, the ascendancy cannot be traded for another.
The presets on this card use Blood Mage, Lich and Abyssal Lich, so they cover both a poe 2 lich build and its alternate version.
Abyssal Lich: the Alternate Ascendancy Behind the Plants Preset
Abyssal Lich is not picked like the others. A Lich unlocks it by killing Vessel of Kulemak, the Abyss pinnacle in The Black Cathedral, at full power. The key to that fight, Kulemak's Invitation, drops from Lightless bosses in area level 79+ Abyss depths. The Plants Abyssal Lich preset is built on this ascendancy, so it fits a Witch who is already a Lich.

Price Options and Timing of the Witch Boost
League choices are Forbidden Rites Softcore and both Runes of Aldur and Standard in Softcore or Hardcore. Build Power goes from Early-game to Mid-game, End-game and Uber, each tier priced higher than the one before. The level box under each tier, 70, 80 or 90, takes the leveling off when your Witch is already there. You play along in Self Play or hand the work over via Piloted or Remote Control, and Piloted can include a Stream. Express execution is a paid extra for maximum priority.
Work starts within about 30 minutes, and the full PoE 2 Witch Build takes about 12 hours. If you want exact items or a mix no preset covers, a custom build is the better order. All classes are in the PoE 2 builds catalog.
