What Is The Steamvault in TBC Anniversary?

The Steamvault is the third and last five-player wing of Coilfang Reservoir in The Burning Crusade, and Warlord Kalithresh waits in its final room. On Fresh TBC players come for two reasons: Normal clears finish the Coilfang quests that send them into the wing, and Heroic clears are a steady badge run.

On Heroic the wing gives 3 Badges of Justice per clear and a guaranteed Primal Nether from Kalithresh.

Steamvault Boost Options and What They Do

The order can be Piloted, Self Play or Remote Control. The key and stream add-ons appear only on Piloted and Remote Control.

Heroic Steamvault Carry and the Reservoir Key

Everyone in a Heroic Steamvault group needs the Reservoir Key from the Cenarion Expedition. On TBC Anniversary the account-wide Communal key comes at Revered, and an alt using it still needs Friendly. After the October 22 patch the requirement falls to Honored and heroics get their final tuning, so the key becomes easier to reach. The first run normally starts around 1.5 hours after payment; one clear is done roughly 2 hours after you order. On packs of several runs, the booster agrees the timing with you in the order chat.
