Overview
Buy WoW TBC The Mechanar Boost and get Pathaleon the Calculator killed in every run, each one a new chance at the Abacus of Violent Odds trinket. Farming one boss for one item means many runs, and keeping a group together for that long is the hard part. Set the number of runs, choose Normal or Heroic, and the team repeats the clear for you.
What’s included
You receive
- 1 to 10 Mechanar runs, Normal or Heroic
- Pathaleon the Calculator killed in every run, each kill a roll at the Abacus

What Is The Mechanar in TBC Anniversary?
The Mechanar is one of the three five-player wings of Tempest Keep in The Burning Crusade, next to The Botanica and The Arcatraz. Its last boss is Pathaleon the Calculator. For many players on Fresh TBC the reason to come back is one item: the Abacus of Violent Odds, an item level 115 trinket that drops from Pathaleon.
Heroic Mechanar opens with the Warpforged Key from The Sha'tar, and on that difficulty Pathaleon also leaves a guaranteed Primal Nether.
Why Buy a Mechanar Carry for the Abacus
Drops are random, so the Abacus can take several kills. Ordering a pack of runs gives you repeated attempts without rebuilding a group each evening. If you want the trinket itself as a fixed goal rather than a number of runs, the Abacus of Violent Odds boost is built around that item.
Options in the Mechanar Boost Calculator
Play mode. Piloted, Self Play or Remote Control.
Execution speed. Normal, Express or Super Express. The two faster settings cost extra and raise your order's priority, with Super Express highest.
Difficulty and amount. Normal or Heroic, from 1 to 10 runs. Larger packs lower the cost of each run.
Extras on Piloted and Remote Control. "I need the Warpforged Key", offered with Heroic selected, has the booster obtain the Tempest Keep heroic key on your character. "60% flying speed mount" adds that mount to the order. Live stream shows the run as it happens. Gold from 500 to 2,000 can be added in every mode.
Start Time and Delivery
Most orders start about 1.5 hours after payment, and one run is complete about 2 hours after you order. For several runs, the plan is agreed in the order chat.
The Warpforged Key needs Revered with The Sha'tar until October 22 and Honored after. The Sha'tar reputation boost takes the faction to Exalted in about a week. The neighbouring Botanica boost uses the same key, and every instance is listed on the TBC Anniversary dungeons page.
Frequently asked questions
When does the Mechanar boost begin?
Usually about 1.5 hours after payment. Express and Super Express cut the waiting time.
How long is one run?
About 2 hours from order to finished run. With more runs, the schedule is set in the order chat.
Is the Abacus of Violent Odds guaranteed?
No, it is a random drop from Pathaleon. This card sells runs; for the trinket as the goal, choose the Abacus of Violent Odds boost.
What makes the price go up or down?
Heroic costs more than Normal, faster execution speeds add to the total, and each additional run is cheaper. The key, flying mount, stream and gold are separate add-ons.
