What Is Echo of Tristram in Diablo 4?

Echo of Tristram is the secret encounter of Season 15, Season of Hell's Legacy, the 30th-anniversary season. Three Prime Evil Splinters, named Terror, Destruction and Hatred, drop as separate items. You combine them in the Horadric Cube into Wirt's Lucky Coin, finish the quest built around Deckard Cain's journal pages, and drop the coin into the fountain in Tristram. A red portal opens, and behind it waits the Prime Evil Council.

Players chase it for the loot table. The Council can drop Mythic Uniques, items with Greater Affixes, gold and Horadric Cube materials, and the rare chase reward is the Hellfire Torch, a tradeable charm. No single kill promises the Torch, so this card sells the fight and its loot, not one named item.

What the Echo of Tristram Carry Includes

Each order item is one complete encounter on Torment XII: coin in the fountain, portal, Council down, chest on your hero. We bring the Wirt's Lucky Coin, so you skip the hunt for all three Prime Evil Splinters. Want several fights? Raise the quantity in the cart, and each item becomes its own run.

Hotfix 4 on September 22 increased the loot cooldown on the Prime Evil Council and fixed the coin being used without a portal opening. That is why the calculator has no run counter: every encounter is a separate item, scheduled around the cooldown on your character.

Options When You Buy Echo of Tristram Runs

• Realm: Seasonal Softcore or Seasonal Hardcore. A Hardcore hero costs more and gets a slower, careful clear.

• Express: pushes the run ahead of the regular queue for an extra charge.
• Extra gold: a gold amount added once to the order, sized to your realm.

The fight runs Self Play, Piloted or by Remote Control, and Piloted orders can add a private live stream.

How It Fits the Rest of Season 15

The coin hunt overlaps with the season questline, where echoes of Diablo, Baal and Mephisto give a Splinter of Evil each; that part is on the Splinters of Evil boost card.
