What Is Midnight Falls in WoW?
Midnight Falls is the second and final boss of March on Quel'Danas, one of the Midnight Season 1 raids. It was the headline fight of that season: the Season 1 Ahead of the Curve and Cutting Edge were tied to it. Since the season ended on August 11, 2026, neither Feat of Strength can be earned any more.
Two things keep Midnight Falls in demand. Its Mythic version drops the Ashes of Belo'ren mount, the only place in the game to get it. And its Mythic loot table, at item level 272–289, holds the top appearances of the raid.
What This Midnight Falls Mythic Boost Covers
| Card | Bosses | Difficulty | Focus |
|---|---|---|---|
| Midnight Falls (this card) | Final boss only | Mythic | Kill, achievement, loot |
| March on Quel'Danas clear | Both | Heroic or Mythic | Whole raid |
| Ashes of Belo'ren | Final boss only | Mythic | The mount itself |
If you already have Belo'ren done or simply do not care about the first fight, this carry is the direct route to the finale. It is also the better buy than a full clear when gear is not the point: 289 is the ceiling of Mythic loot in this raid, and a Season 2 Mythic 0 dungeon already gives 292, so the value here is the achievement, the look and the mount roll.
When You Can Buy a Midnight Falls Carry
Any time. Season 1 raids are run on request rather than on our weekly raid schedule. The Mythic kill itself takes about 1 hour.
With Self Play you are inside the raid and loot for yourself. With Piloted or Remote Control your character is played, and you come back to a finished kill.
Want the Season 2 Equivalent?
The Ahead of the Curve of the current season is earned on Ula'tek in The Venomous Abyss, and it stays obtainable until Season 2 ends. The Ahead of the Curve boost covers it. Other first-season kills are listed under Season 1 raids.
Frequently asked questions
Does Midnight Falls still give Ahead of the Curve or Cutting Edge?
No. The Season 1 versions are no longer obtainable. You get the Mythic kill, its achievement and loot.
Is the Ashes of Belo'ren mount included?
It can drop from this Mythic kill, and this is the only boss that drops it. A drop is not fixed, so it is a chance on each kill.
How soon can you start, and how long does it take?
On request: after the manager assigns your booster, you agree the time in the order chat. The kill takes about 1 hour.
