What Is Heroic Kith'ix in WoW Midnight?

Heroic Kith'ix is the Heroic difficulty of The Unbinding of Kith'ix, the single-boss raid that patch 12.1.5 adds under The Venomous Abyss. Your raid faces the C'Thraxxi general together with Lady Liadrin. A Heroic kill awards the Heroic: Kith'ix achievement and loot at item level 311, which sits on the Hero track.

For a Season 2 character, that is a fast Hero-track source: 311 equals the late bosses of Heroic Venomous Abyss, from one encounter instead of a full clear.

What a Heroic Kith'ix Carry Can Drop

Armor: 4 pieces, one for each armor type.
Weapons and ring: 2 weapons and 1 ring.
Trinkets: Lightbearer's Shield Fragment for tanks, Sigil of the Impending Eclipse for healers, Twisted Horror's Tendril for damage dealers.
Ascendant Venomstones: Heroic and Mythic kills drop them starting the week of October 20.
Collectibles: the decor Kith'ix's Seal and the toy Shadeweaver's Hearthstone.

With 3 trinkets on a one-boss table, priority loot makes a real difference: Full priority sends every usable drop to you.

Heroic Kith'ix Boost Loot Modes and Booster Counts

Loot mode	What changes	Unsaved boosters
Group loot	Normal rolls	Not selectable
Unsaved group loot	Boosters without a lockout join, fewer rivals for items	Not selectable
Armor & token priority	Only tier tokens and your armor type prioritized; cheaper	10, 15, 20 or 26 (2–3 up to 5–6 items per roll)
Full priority	Everything prioritized, tokens included	10, 15, 20 or 26 (2–3 up to 5–6 items from the boss)

The price gap between the two priority modes comes from their scope. Armor & token priority only reserves tokens and pieces of your armor type, so rings, weapons and trinkets still roll. Full priority reserves all of it for you.

Start Date and Run Length

12.1.5 lands on October 13 in the US and on the following Wednesday maintenance in Europe. You can buy now. The kill takes 30–60 minutes.

Compare with the full Venomous Abyss Heroic clear if you want tier tokens too. Need a cheaper first step? The Kith'ix Normal boost drops 298. Want 344 gear? Go for the Mythic Kith'ix boost. All options sit on the Unbinding of Kith'ix hub.
