What Is Mythic Kith'ix in WoW?

Mythic Kith'ix is the hardest version of The Unbinding of Kith'ix, the one-boss raid of patch 12.1.5. The fight against the C'Thraxxi general, with Lady Liadrin on your side, is flexible on Mythic: 15 to 25 players. That differs from Mythic Venomous Abyss, which uses a fixed 20.

The reason to buy is the item level. Mythic Kith'ix drops 344, the Myth 9 equivalent, which is the same level as the final two bosses of Mythic Venomous Abyss and higher than the 334 that the Myth upgrade track reaches with crests.

Myth-track pieces stop at 334 even with every crest spent, so each 344 drop lands above that ceiling in the slot it fills. One encounter gives what otherwise needs the end of a full Mythic raid. If you would rather take the two end bosses of the current tier, the last two bosses boost covers The Coiled Altar and Ula'tek, and the Venomous Abyss Mythic card sells the whole tier.

Loot on a Mythic Kith'ix Carry

The table holds 4 armor pieces (one per armor type), 2 weapons, 1 ring and 3 trinkets. The trinkets are a big part of the appeal: Twisted Horror's Tendril for damage dealers, Sigil of the Impending Eclipse for healers and Lightbearer's Shield Fragment for tanks. From the week of October 20, Mythic kills also drop Ascendant Venomstones. Collectibles are the decor Kith'ix's Seal and the toy Shadeweaver's Hearthstone; there is no mount. In the calculator you also choose the raid size, 15, 20 or 25 players; a larger raid costs more.
