What Is March on Quel'Danas in WoW?
March on Quel'Danas is the two-boss raid of Midnight Season 1. The first fight is Belo'ren, Child of Al'ar. The second is Midnight Falls, the encounter that held Ahead of the Curve and Cutting Edge for Season 1. Those two Feats of Strength are gone now; the season ended on August 11, 2026.
What remains is the loot and the collection value. Heroic drops are item level 259–276 and Mythic drops 272–289. Mythic Midnight Falls is also the only source of the Ashes of Belo'ren mount, a fact that confuses many players, since the name points to the first boss.
What a March on Quel'Danas Carry Includes
- Both encounters. Belo'ren first, Midnight Falls second, in one lockout.
- Heroic. The cheaper choice for the Heroic armor appearances and kill achievements.
- Mythic. The Mythic appearances, Mythic achievements and a chance at the Ashes of Belo'ren mount.
- Play mode. Piloted or Self Play on either difficulty; Remote Control on Mythic.
There is no Normal option on this card, so the cheapest way in is Heroic. Heroic and Mythic each have their own version of the armor, which is why players who already own one set often come back for the other. With Self Play you are in the group for both kills and loot the drops yourself.
How Long the Boost Takes
Two bosses take about 1 hour together. We do not keep Season 1 content on the raid schedule, so the run is set up on request.
Should You Buy Only Midnight Falls Instead?
If you want the final boss on Mythic and nothing else, the Midnight Falls Mythic kill is a separate card. Collectors after the mount itself can order the Ashes of Belo'ren mount run. For gear that helps in Season 2, even Mythic 0 dungeons drop 292, above anything in this raid. Other first-season raids are listed in the Season 1 raids section.

Does the Mythic run give the Ashes of Belo'ren mount?
The mount drops only from Mythic Midnight Falls, so the Mythic clear gives you a chance at it. It is a drop, not a fixed reward.
