What Is the Tidebound Grotto in WoW?

The Tidebound Grotto is a lair, not a full raid: a one-boss instance of Midnight Season 2 for 15–25 players. Its boss is Nymrissa Wavecaller. The lair has four difficulties, World, Normal, Heroic and Mythic, and Mythic scales with group size instead of needing a fixed 20. World difficulty opened in the week of August 11, 2026, the other three on August 18.

Players come for gear: Nymrissa drops raid loot at the Early tier, and her kill fills a slot in the raid row of the Great Vault. There is no Ahead of the Curve or Cutting Edge attached to it.

Tidebound Grotto Boost Options

On Normal and Heroic, more unsaved boosters mean more items to pass to you: from 2–3 with 10 boosters up to 5–6 with 26. On Mythic the raid size sets how many players clear the lair with Full priority.

How a Nymrissa Wavecaller Carry Runs

A kill takes 30–60 minutes. After payment the manager agrees the time with you. Self Play needs no gear and no raid experience, so even a fresh level 90 can come along for the Early-tier drops.
