What Is the Primeval Skyfriend in WoW?
The Primeval Skyfriend is a flying mount from The Venomous Abyss, the Midnight Season 2 raid. It has a single source: Ula'tek, the final boss, on Mythic difficulty. Normal, Heroic and Raid Finder kills never drop it, and no achievement awards it, which makes it the rarest collectible of the raid.
Blizzard set the drop generously: three Skyfriends fall for the group on every Mythic kill. Collectors want it because only Mythic raiders can show it. On our run one of those copies goes to you as a guarantee, and the same pull pays out the feat and the title.
Why Buy Skyfriend Boost Instead of Farming It
To farm the mount yourself, you need a group that kills Mythic Ula'tek every week. Mythic is the hardest difficulty and uses a fixed roster, so most players never see the fight. With a Primeval Skyfriend Boost you join our Mythic raid for one evening and leave with the mount, guaranteed; Self Play asks for no gear and no Mythic experience. The kill also writes Cutting Edge: Ula'tek into your Feats of Strength while Season 2 is live.

The Second Raid Mount and Other Mount Carries
The Venomous Abyss has one more mount: the Crimson Venomfang, earned through the meta achievement Glory of the Venomous Raider, not through a drop. Collectors often buy both, since one is a drop and the other an achievement reward, and neither replaces the other. Mounts from delves, PvP and older content are gathered in the WoW mount boost section, and every Season 2 raid service is on the Venomous Abyss page.
Frequently asked questions
Which boss drops the Primeval Skyfriend?
Only Ula'tek on Mythic. Heroic, Normal and Raid Finder kills do not drop it.
Is the mount guaranteed?
Yes. The Primeval Skyfriend is guaranteed to you with this run. Three drop on every Mythic Ula'tek kill, and one of them is yours.
When can you start?
There is usually no waiting. The manager prepares the Mythic raid for the time you prefer.
How long does it take?
A Mythic raid takes 2–3 hours.
Is the Skyfriend the Cutting Edge mount?
No. Cutting Edge gives no mount. The Skyfriend drops from the same Mythic kill, so players often link the two, and this run brings the feat as well.
