What Is the Frostwolf Howler in WoW Forever?
The Frostwolf Howler is the battle wolf of the Frostwolf Clan, the orcs who fight for the Horde in Alterac Valley, the large battleground north of Hillsbrad, up in the mountains. No boss drops it and no crafter makes it: the clan quartermaster sells it to Exalted characters only. Being an epic mount, it needs a level 60 rider who has trained epic riding.
Wolves are the orcish mount, and the Howler is the Horde wolf in its proudest form. Anyone in a Horde camp who sees it knows the rider took the Frostwolf bar to the very end, and our WoW Forever Frostwolf Howler Boost brings you to that point without the long valley grind.
Why Horde Players Buy a Frostwolf Howler Carry
What the wolf really costs is time. Neutral to Exalted is 42,000 reputation, and the last rank alone, Revered to Exalted, asks for 21,000 of it. Every point comes from valley matches or from Marks of Honor traded in. That is a lot of evenings spent in one battleground when you would rather raid, level an alt or play another of the four battlegrounds WoW Forever offers. With a WoW Forever Frostwolf Howler Boost the grind happens on your character while you are offline, and you log in to a finished bar and a new mount.
What the Frostwolf Howler Boost Includes
| Part of the order | What happens |
|---|---|
| Reputation | Frostwolf Clan raised from your current rank to Exalted in Alterac Valley |
| The mount | Bought from the Frostwolf quartermaster at Exalted, vendor price paid by us |
| Honor and marks | Everything earned stays yours: 3 marks per win, 1 per loss |
| Method | Piloted or Remote Control; Piloted orders can add a Live stream |
The marks are yours to spend. In WoW Forever they can be traded for reputation or experience, so you can keep them for another faction later.
When You Can Buy the Howler Boost and How Long It Runs
Ordering is open today. Your WoW Forever Frostwolf Howler Boost enters the valley queues from the day Alterac Valley is up after launch. Duration follows your current rank and the queue times; a character already at Revered has half the distance left. Before the first match, the booster writes out a timeline for you in the order chat.
Riding Lessons, Reputation Only and Other Horde Goals
No epic riding on your level 60 character? Our mount unlock boost covers the training. If you only want Frostwolf ranks and not the mount, take the Alterac Valley reputation boost instead. Honor, ranks and gear for battlegrounds sit in the WoW Forever PvP boost section, and the full list of rides we carry is in the WoW Forever mount boost catalog.
Frequently asked questions
Can an Alliance character get the Frostwolf Howler?
No. Only Horde characters earn Frostwolf Clan reputation, and the clan quartermaster deals with them alone. Alliance players fight for the Stormpike Guard and earn that faction's own mount.
When does the Frostwolf Howler boost start?
On the first day Alterac Valley is open after the November 4 launch. Place it now and it is already waiting when the valley opens.
How long until I ride the wolf?
It depends on your starting rank and on queue times. From Neutral the bar needs 42,000 reputation; from Revered it needs 21,000. Your booster posts a timeline for your exact rank in the order chat.
Do the honor and marks earned in the matches stay with me?
Yes. Honor and marks earned during the order stay on your character, ready to trade for reputation or experience whenever you choose.
