What Is Maraudon in WoW Forever?

Maraudon is a huge cave system in western Desolace, sacred to the centaur tribes who believe their ancestors sleep inside. It is the burial place of Zaetar, son of Cenarius, and the lair of Princess Theradras, the earth elemental whose corruption turned the waters and crystal of the caves into poison. Purple and orange tunnels lead past satyrs, corrupted elementals and centaur ghosts to the inner falls, and Theradras waits in the deepest chamber.

For a WoW Forever character in the mid-40s to mid-50s, Maraudon is one of the longest stops of the leveling road, and the big cave fits the many quests of Desolace around it.

WoW Forever Maraudon Boost: Entry at 30, Real Band 46–55

Maraudon has the widest gap of any original dungeon between the level that gets you in and the level it is built for. The game opens the portal at 30, while the recommended band is 46–55.

• Piloted or Remote Control: buy from level 30 if you want; our group does the fighting and your character comes along.
• Self Play: aim for the mid-40s, because the inner caves hit hard and there is no level scaling in WoW Forever.

Characters in that band also have a new option: Krol'dok Stronghold, the open-air ogre dungeon in The Riverglades, covers 40–45.

Configure Your Maraudon Carry

Pick the number of runs first. One run covers a quest pass or a first look at Theradras; five or ten make sense when you are after specific drops. Then choose the loot rule. For gear, Loot Priority is the stronger setting on a WoW Forever Maraudon Boost, since every item your class needs goes to your bags instead of a roll. The last field is the play mode, and the total shows before you pay. Normal, the other loot rule, keeps standard group rolls.

Mara Boost Run Time and Start Date

One Maraudon clear takes 30–45 minutes with our team. A WoW Forever Maraudon Boost starts on November 4, the day WoW Forever goes live, for any character that has reached level 30; orders placed before that date wait in the queue and are scheduled in the order chat.
