What Is a PvP Set in WoW Forever?
PvP sets are class armor earned through player-versus-player combat, and in WoW Forever they come with the return of the original rank ladder. There are 14 PvP ranks, from Private or Scout at the bottom to Grand Marshal or High Warlord at the top, and climbing them takes honor. Blizzard revamped honor for this version and added a new battleground, Darkspear Islands, a 15v15 map off the coast of Kalimdor, next to the classic battlegrounds that return.
The calculator offers two sets: an Honor PvP set and a Rank PvP set, which is tied to the rank climb. The rank set takes longer, because it waits for the ranks behind it.
Honor Set or Rank Set: What the WoW Forever PvP Set Boost Covers
| Option | What you get | Typical time |
|---|---|---|
| Honor PvP set | The honor set for your class | Depends on honor farmed |
| Rank PvP set, up to Rank 10 | Rank climb and the rank set | About 1–1.5 months |
| Rank PvP set, up to Rank 14 | Rank climb and the rank set | About 2 months |
| Rank set + honor set | Both sets | As for the rank target |
The rank range starts at your current rank, so a character that already stands at Rank 6 only climbs the ranks above it. Set pieces you already own are skipped.
Choose your Class and the PvP set: Honor PvP set, or Rank PvP set with a rank range from 1 to 14. With the rank set you can tick Add the honor PvP set to get both. On Piloted you can add a Live stream to watch the sessions. The booster plays either Piloted or by Remote Control.
How Long the WoW Forever PvP Set Boost Takes
Rank speed depends on how much honor is farmed and on competition: the honor needed for a rank grows with what other players farm, so the date moves with the server. Rank 10 is usually reached in about 1–1.5 months, Rank 14 in about 2 months. For reference, in original Classic honor farming ran at 10,000–18,000 honor per hour, and 15,000–30,000 or more during a bonus event.
Buy the Set or the Rank Alone
Buy WoW Forever PvP Set Boost when the armor is the goal. If you want the title and the rank without the set, the WoW Forever rank boost is the dedicated card; raw honor hours are the honor farm, and weapons and other slots are in the PvP gear boost. The full list of gear services sits in the gearing section.
