What Is Mount Gold in WoW Forever?
Mount gold is the money a character puts aside for riding. In WoW Forever you learn to ride at level 40 and move on to epic riding at 60, and both lessons are paid to the riding instructor. The lesson already comes with the mount, so there is no second purchase at a vendor: the training is the whole bill.
That bill arrives when a character is shortest on coins. By 40 most savings have gone into class ranks and bags, and at 60 the epic lesson competes with gear and raid preparation before December 9. A pack sized for the riding training most players budget for closes the gap between reaching the level and riding off.

Each pack costs less than buying the same amount coin by coin, because its size is fixed and planned ahead. In the calculator you choose the pack, your ruleset and faction, and the delivery method. Guild Bank delivery costs a little more than the other three, and the total is shown before you pay.
How the Riding Gold Reaches You
- Mail: sent to the two-part name you give, collected at any mailbox.
- Face-to-Face: a direct trade at a meeting point set in the order chat.
- Auction House: you list an agreed item and it is bought for the pack amount.
- Guild Bank: the coins go straight into your guild's bank.
The epic pack follows the same route in several handovers, each with its own screenshot, until all 1,000 gold are on your character.

When can you deliver the bundle?
The 100 gold pack from November 4, usually within 1–2 hours of the order being picked up. The 1,000 gold pack is taken as a pre-order and arrives in parts as our stock builds up after launch.
Why is the epic riding pack a pre-order?
At launch, one handover covers up to 100 gold. Larger sums keep their place in the queue and are delivered in parts as soon as the gold is farmed.
Is the bundle cheaper than ordering the gold separately?
Yes. Both packs cost less in total than the same number of coins ordered piece by piece on our gold card. Guild Bank delivery is the only option that raises the total.
Do you need my login?
No. The gold is handed over in game by Mail, trade, Auction House or Guild Bank, so we only need the exact character name, ruleset and faction.
