What Is the Sporebearer Fungal Strider in WoW?
The Sporebearer Fungal Strider is a ground mount added in patch 12.1.5 and sold by Showena in Harandar for 5,000,000 gold. It carries NPCs on its back: a Haranir Metalshaper who sells and repairs, and a Haranir Messenger who serves as a mailbox. Two more seats can be unlocked, the Haranir Tradebroker auctioneer and the Haranir Bloomshifter transmogrifier, and passengers are swapped at Hoshena in Harandar.
Buying it awards the Feat of Strength Fungal Not Frugal. Blizzard sells the Strider only until the end of Midnight, while the NPC swaps stay available afterwards. For anyone who gathers, crafts or hunts transmog in the open world, a repair vendor and a mailbox that walk with you cut out most trips back to a city.
What the Fungal Strider Mount Costs in Gold
| Purchase in game | Gold | What it adds |
|---|---|---|
| Sporebearer Fungal Strider | 5,000,000 | Mount, vendor with repair, mailbox |
| Auctioneer unlock | 1,500,000 | Haranir Tradebroker |
| Transmogrifier unlock | 500,000 | Haranir Bloomshifter |
| Everything | 7,000,000 | All four NPCs |
That is why the slider runs from 500,000 to 5,000,000 gold: most buyers already hold part of the sum on a main or a bank alt and order only the rest. The two NPC add-ons in the calculator each add exactly the gold that unlock costs, so one order can fund the full 7,000,000 setup.
How the Gold Boost for the Strider Is Delivered
Mail drops the gold into your mailbox without you being online. Trade needs your character online at the agreed spot, where the booster hands the gold over in person. Either way the full amount arrives in about 1–2 hours, whatever its size. Express costs extra and puts the order at maximum priority.
When to Buy Sporebearer Mount
Showena starts selling with patch 12.1.5 on October 13, 2026 in the US and on the EU maintenance day of that week. Gold delivered earlier simply waits on your character until the vendor opens. The end date is far away, since the mount stays on sale for the rest of Midnight, but buying early gives you the mailbox and repair seats for the whole patch. The patch 12.1.5 overview lists what else arrives with it.
If you need gold for other purchases too, the WoW gold card sells any amount without the Strider add-ons. Other mounts we farm are in the mount boost section, and the same patch adds a delve mount, the Loa-Blessed Wayfarer.
Frequently asked questions
When can you start?
As soon as the manager assigns a booster after payment. The gold can arrive before October 13, and you buy the mount once patch 12.1.5 opens Showena's shop.
How long does delivery take?
About 1–2 hours for any amount, from 500,000 up to the full 5,000,000 gold.
Do you buy the mount for me?
No. We send the gold, and you buy the Strider from Showena yourself, which also gives your character Fungal Not Frugal.
What decides the price of the order?
Mostly the amount of gold on the slider. The Auctioneer and Transmogrifier add-ons each add the gold of that unlock, Express adds a charge for maximum priority, and Trade and Mail cost the same.
