WoW Forever The Drowned City Boost

WoW Forever The Drowned City Boost takes your character through the sunken troll ruins that surfaced off the coast of Stranglethorn, a new dungeon tuned for levels 35–40. One clear, a bundle of clears or a hunt for a single item: the calculator decides, and you may play yourself or hand the keys over.

Overview

Buy WoW Forever The Drowned City Boost and walk through the place BlizzCon visitors were allowed to try before any other new dungeon: troll stonework heaved up from the seabed near Stranglethorn, held by trolls and naga, with a pirate hull jammed into its masonry. Blizzard tunes it for level 35–40.

Three run types sit in the calculator (Single run, Run package, Loot run) next to two loot rules (Priority on your items, Everything for your class) and two methods: Self-play or Piloted. Boosters occupy the remaining seats, and anything your character wins stays on it.

What’s included

You receive

  • Single run: the ruins off Stranglethorn cleared once, entrance to final boss, at level 35–40
  • Run package: the number of consecutive The Drowned City clears you set in the calculator
  • Loot run: clears repeated for one named item until The Drowned City hands it over
  • Priority on your items: listed pieces are passed to you whenever a Drowned City boss drops them
  • Everything for your class: any Drowned City drop usable by your class and spec becomes yours
  • Boss-exclusive items start at blue rarity, per Blizzard's statement on Forever dungeons
  • Coins, cloth and crafting materials looted inside The Drowned City remain in your bags
  • Each clear adds to dungeon mastery in the Legacy panel (datamined, may change)

Before you order

  • Battle.net account holding a WoW subscription or prepaid Game Time
  • Region and ruleset of the character: PvP, Roleplaying or Normal
  • Faction, class and spec
  • Both halves of the two-part character name
  • Level 35 as a minimum; Blizzard tunes the ruins for 35–40
  • Piloted only: login handed over for the booked session. Self-play only: you at the keyboard at the hour fixed with the booster

Your account stays yours. We never ask for a password at checkout. For piloted services, access is agreed with your booster in the order chat — keep your authenticator on and never share backup codes.

What Is The Drowned City in WoW Forever?

Nine new dungeons were announced for Classic Plus, and this one sits in the middle of the climb: levels 35–40. Its setting is the sea off Stranglethorn, where troll ruins that spent ages under water have come back to the surface. Nobody in the story can say what pushed them up. Scouts report trolls and naga slipping between the wet stones, and a pirate vessel lies broken against the outer wall.

BlizzCon visitors could play it hands-on before any other newcomer, so more footage of it circulates than of its eight siblings. What Blizzard has withheld matters just as much: boss names, item lists, quests inside, group size and possible faction limits remain unannounced. This page keeps to confirmed details and gets an update once the gaps close.

What a WoW Forever The Drowned City Boost Includes

Every WoW Forever The Drowned City Boost seats your character among boosters who clear the ruins from the first pack to the final boss. How often that happens depends on the run type:

  • Single run – one visit, enough to see the halls and pocket what the bosses surrender that day.
  • Run package – a chain of visits; the counter in the calculator sets its length.
  • Loot run – visits continue until one item you named lands in your bags.

Then comes the method. Self-play keeps your hands on your own character while the boosters manage pulls, healing and tempo. Piloted means a booster signs in during the booked session and you return to the outcome. For a first visit, The Drowned City carry with you at the controls is the natural choice: these ruins are new to every player alive, and watching them yourself is half the fun.

Loot Rules: Who Gets the Drops

With the item list unpublished, promising a particular sword or ring would be dishonest. The rule, however, can be fixed beforehand. Priority on your items hands your character the pieces you wrote down whenever they show up. Everything for your class stretches that to whatever your class and spec can wear or wield. Two official statements help here: boss-exclusive dungeon items start at blue rarity, and bosses are also where Blueprints come from, the patterns campers need for their better camp objects. A level 35–40 clear can therefore pay off for crafters too. Coins, cloth and materials gathered on the way are yours under either rule.

Levels 35–40: How the Runs Fit Your Climb

Those five levels are a stretch where quest hubs thin out and travel grows long. A Run package layers instance experience and blue equipment on top of it. We will not advertise it as the shortest road to 40: according to an interview, trash kills inside instances are meant to grant less experience than players expect while instance quests grant more, and the final numbers are not in yet. What a Classic Plus The Drowned City run does bring is equipment, steps toward the dungeon mastery tiers datamined from the Legacy panel, and a finished instance without an evening of tank hunting. Beyond 40 the ogre fortress of The Riverglades continues the ladder; every rung is listed under WoW Forever dungeon runs.

From Calculator to Confirmed Run

Ordering is open already, and the work itself begins on November 4, 2026, when WoW Forever launches. Should Blizzard shift the launch, your purchase simply waits for the actual opening and keeps its validity. The path looks like this:

  • Choose run type, loot rule and method, then pay.
  • The site shows "Finding a booster" while vetted boosters see your job; one of them takes it.
  • A private chat links you, that booster and the support desk. Day and hour get settled there.
  • When the clears are done, screenshots go up as proof.
  • You have 72 hours to press confirm or flag an issue.

Backing out before anyone took the job brings a full refund. To buy The Drowned City boost you need little beyond a level 35 character and five checkout fields. A WoW Forever The Drowned City Boost purchased this week rests in the queue until the new world opens its gates.

Frequently asked questions

Where is The Drowned City and what level is it for?

It lies off the coast of Stranglethorn, inside troll ruins that climbed out of the ocean. Blizzard lists levels 35–40, which makes it number five of the newcomers when you sort them by level. Neither the exact entrance nor the way to reach it has been shown in detail, so no route is described here.

Can both factions enter The Drowned City?

No restriction has been mentioned for it, whereas the two lowest newcomers were introduced as an Alliance-side and a Horde-side place. Since Forever does not allow mixed-faction groups, checkout asks which side you play, and the boosters joining you belong to that side and to your ruleset.

Do you already know the bosses and the loot?

No. Encounter names, their number and the item list are unannounced, and we refuse to plug that hole with guesses. Official so far: boss-exclusive dungeon items are blue or better, and Blueprints come from dungeon bosses. Once the list is out, a Loot run can target one exact piece.

How many clears does a Run package contain?

Exactly the figure you enter. The listing has no fixed bundle sizes. Pick a number that suits your aim, for instance a handful of visits for slots still wearing green items. Want more afterwards? Place a second purchase; the same booster or a different one may take it.

Is The Drowned City playable in the beta?

Not at present. The beta caps characters at 20, later at 30, and its opening week unlocked only the two lowest newcomers. An instance built for 35–40 stays beyond that ceiling, which is why our clears begin with the live launch on November 4, 2026.

What if my character is below 35 when the game launches?

That will be true for everybody, since all characters begin at level 1 on launch day. Your purchase waits while you level. Reach 35, post a line in the chat, and the booster schedules the first visit with you. Withdrawing before a booster took the job is refunded in full.
